If we're talking burgers, Bad Apple >>>>>>>>> Kuma's >>>>>>>>>> Culver's >>>>>>>> Half Acre. (side note, literally every time I've tried to go to Au Cheval, I wind up eating tacos at Cruz Blanca)

If we're talking FR, The Schnitzel Sandwich >>>>>>>>>>> The Burger

I did some socially distant camping this weekend, and brought a crown hut, a woven, an I am because we are, and a whole bunch of fader. There were plenty of hops and stouts (hey handjee!) and weird beers present, but all of these HA (and HA-affiliated) beers were knockouts. Perfect warm weather beers.

hope y’all had a great weekend!

Hey me too! I also brought predominantly Fader and Dovetail Helles. Someone brought Stag. I drank some. So that was a thing that happened too.

The tacos at Cruz Blanca are superb, especially on Tuesday. I like to go upstairs. Sometimes it was not open I walked in.

This is accurate. However, I am quite sure that even if Bad Apple is letting hamburgers go off-premise, Half Acre is not going to let you carry one in to its brewpub. :fearful:
Compare Metropolitan Brwg. and Carniceria Guanajuato #3: The grocery store's tacos and burritos are stunning and solid values worth taking a jaunt on the CTA route #77 Belmont bus just for itself.

Try the Schnitzel Sandwich with the giardiniera mayo from the burger instead of the beets. Mind-blowingly good.

Can someone confirm the curbside option is while you are still in the car (vs standing outside the door)?

Going to be driving through the area tomorrow and not sure I'd be able to manage getting both kids out of the car seats in masks.

    Thanks!

The couple of times I went, they come out and ask your name and set the beer on a table just outside the door. If you park directly in front, I don’t think you would have to get the kids out.

You can definitely do it with the kids in the car. My 3-year old napped right through it last time I picked up stuff there. You just have to park right in front of the store and then run up to the little table and grab the beer and then go back to your car.

That's too risky, just send one of them in to get it for you.

Pretty excited to see a big sweaty pile of Fully Saturated DDC cans at my friendly downstate Binny's today. Actually went in for Fader, which was all gone. Doesn't feel like a consolation prize...

If somehow you've never had Julius go get FSDDC because it is just about the same beer. HOLY HELL.

I've never had Julius. I took your recommendation. FSDDC is definitely a unique tasting beer to the midwestlandcoastofthirds...not sure if I love it, but am enjoying the unknown flavor sensation.
