My wife and daughter are out of town for five of them. Took a nightshift off so the 18 year old son wouldn't have the house to himself for four nights. Beers for me, party pooper for him.

@scream knows the drill. Just a tad bit different though tonight. Drinking wine that cost four times the rot gut I usually drink.

I hate this hot, stifling weather.

Hey my friends do not work too hard this week.

Land Shark tastes like Miller Highlife to me, which is not a bad thing but I’m not going to pay the price. Sierraveza is a basic lager in my craft world that is easy drinking, goes good with food, and yes I will buy it again.

Yeah, dare to be different! Here in York, PA (home of Harley-Davidson) I'm one of a vanishingly small minority that chooses to ride a Brit bike. Actually, I have 3 of them - all pre-1975 (when they changed to shifter on the left, like the rest of the world). This '64 is my favorite:

And I guess to legitimize this post I ought to include what I'm drinking now:

Love that IPA. Bitter grapefruit and pine with a strong malt backbone to smooth it out. Wish I could still find Pinedrops down here still.

In a mood for light but boozy. I have one more 2018 and one 2019 Goose Island Wheatwine.

Still a little hot, lots of caramel with a hoppy sort of zing.

With more Central Waters brandy barleywine to be purchased, I splurged with this for a non-occasion.

This is THE most proper and stunning English style barleywine ever made. AKA it’s the most stunning barleywine in general. I have no words.

Dog walk beer and a not so great IPA. Where's the grapefruit? Grapefruit is the reason why I bought it. Getting a lot of green veg, garlic, onion, and piss notes. I would love a Grapefruit Sculpin right now.

I didn’t understand Ghost. Everyone loves it. I think that’s how I know I’m not an IPA guy. Ales and lagers make more sense to me. Rambling...cheers!

Great album! For me, it's a toss up between "Achtung Baby" and "All You Can't Leave Behind". For songs, it's "Kite" (which is a total off the radar song for them when it comes to their catalog of music). Hanging in my office at home ...

Great color in that glass. My wife likes a good sour, but the bacteria evidently don’t like her.

I'll never forget my buddy Jeff from high school, riding around on the back of his motorcycle. He had a Triumph Bonneville 650 and got a brand new 1972 AMF Harley-Davidson Sportster and I think it was the first year the 1200 came out, for Christmas. Forgive my 48 years ago memory but we had some good times. I learned how to ride on that Sportster. RIP Jeff. I can still hear Santana play in my head.
