Hey, I said a man can hope!

 

Anyone else not get any coconut in Pressed Coconut? Don't get me wrong, still awesome, and that TUGBOAT coffee make you want to TOOT TOOT! But where the hell is the coconut?

 

Yep same with me and 2 others I know that have had it. The coffee overpowered the coconut IMO, but I agree still a really good Imperial porter. If you like a stronger coffee flavor with a hint of Coconut then this is the beer for you.

 

I got a ton of coconut in both cans I have had. More prominent than the coffee.

 

Yeh, I got coconut mixed with coffee. Not a "coconut bomb", but it's not supposed to be. I could definitely tell the difference between this and the maple / vanilla / other adjunct versions of this beer.

Looks like Devious Methods is the DIPA they are sending out this week (DIPA not APA).

They're released this once before if I recall.

 

And it's pretty good to boot. Would prefer Terrazzo was rolling out again, though.

 

I too got basically all coconut. I’m not sure I’d even know there was any coffee in there if it wasn’t called out on the can.

 

Must be some inconsistency can to can then...Because mine was PURE COFFEE BOMB. Good for me liking coffee, but bad for the coconut.

 

Insta and Untappd says American Double, so...good thing you went to the trouble there. Slow news night?

 

The one can I’ve opened was all coffee as well.

Would be OK with them shelving every IPA they make so Terrazzo is available whenever I want it.

 

The nice thing about Pressed being in 2 packs is that the adjunct/coffee situation gives you two different drinking experiences if done more than a month apart

 

I’m really enjoying the Double Nectar raspberry/cherry. I’m not a real lemonade guy so the lemon/strawberry one wasn’t as much for me

 

The lemon/strawberry one reminded me of an Italian ice. I liked it. I agree with most people that the nectar series is definitely not beer. But it’s awesome.

 

Maybe not beer but a huge cash cow. People go nuts for the 450 slushees and the fact that no one else is brewing something close to this in Chicagoland is a great move by P3.

 

Once beer drinkers realize they can enjoy a Dovetail Lager or an Afterthought saison but also enjoy a overfruited sour or a good milkshake IPA, they’ll be more content than digging in on a side

 

There’s more beer options than fruited sours, hazy IPAs and pastry stouts?
