Just did a mixed 4 pack via The Beer and Now in Lisle.

Hard pass on this over priced mediocre drop. Anybody thirsty for OH should just buck up 50+C&S for a case.

For those in the city, Warehouse and Printers Row Wine look like they each got 4-5 different OH beers.

Is Binnys going to get these or not? Assumed so, but local one still clueless and saying only Lincoln Park.

Got 4’s each of Broccoli, Ain’t Nothing Nice, Space Diamonds and Citra Daydream in the north burbs. I’m happy.

I had DDH Citra Daydream, Broccoli, and DDH Space Diamonds all for the first time today. Was hoping for more from all of them. Last year’s drop was better

Ouch. That doesn't bode well. What were your favorites this year?

Did anyone catch the dates on these beers?

Not sure I follow the last part of your question. But my Other Half thoughts from the past is that they excel in a few key areas:

-They have a unique ability to make triple IPA’s that drink like doubles yet are fully flavorful
-Their DDH beers have intense hop flavor in a good way
-They can often make IPA’s with 4-5 hops (and not always super trendy ones) that are exceptional for hazy IPA’s (which often focus on 1-3 hops).

The first 3 beers I had from this drop (the ones I was most excited for) didn’t really hit those three areas (granted most of the drop is below 7%). I don’t regret the purchase but I’m glad I have 1-2 cans of each and not more expensive full 4 packs

Was pretty excited to have 7 day old fresh OH on shelves in my local beer store. I do agree though i was hoping for more from these beers, especially at $23/$26 a 4 pack. Either way it is cool that more breweries are starting to do these occasional drops in the Chicagoland area

Just curious, as I have no skin in this game. Are these the prices ($23-26 a pack) they sell for in their local markets, or is airfare added for the Chicago drops?

They take Spirit so the price could be a lot higher.

Looks like from the brewery their anywhere from $16-$20 per 4 pack. So a small up charge

I dig the unique hop combo on Broccoli.

Thought Ain’t Nothing Nice was really tasty.

I would like to try DDH Broccoli, Cheddar etc. Haven’t had the ANN yet but may give it a go tonight after one of the sessions

Don’t sleep on the DDH Forever Ever. Yes, it’s about a $20 session ipa, but they pack a lot of flavor.
