I'm excited! I dunno about everywhere, that shop in Tallahassee gets a lot of stuff no one else does and I haven't seen it anywhere else I've looked. Was actually kind of surprised to see it to be honest.

So I was hit by @CanConPhilly this past weekend. Just took a bit to unload everything and get it up here on BA. A lot of new ticks both beer and brewery wise. Without further ado...

Soooooo in order to pay proper respects, I present to y'all Savage box #2, courtesy of @strohme2

There were a lot of fun treats included in this one, and, to be honest, I've drank through most of it already. Whoops!!! Daddy thirsty!!!

There were a few new ticks in here, as I'd never had anything from Urbanrest (Chooch saison), or Austin Brothers (Sumo Sumatra imperial stout, Key Lime smoothie IPA, Blackberry Sourbet (mmmmm), Murking Man Blues IPA), or what ended up being the blind beer, One Well (BBA Wizard Potion). That's always exciting!

Then...oh my...the Woodward Ave hot dog chili was really f'n good! Made chili cheese dogs with diced onion on Martin's potato hot dog buns...boyyyyyyyyyy...that was a nice treat since the gf has largely been making healthy-ish meals recently.

Round out the food portion with some killer sounding honey mustard from Sleeping Bear Farms, and some 'sweet heat foodie sauce' from Street Eatz, which I'll figure out something to do with those soon enough.

Then are the old tried-and-trues -- honestly, never had anything that I didn't thoroughly enjoy from Speciation, so their stuff is ALWAYS a welcome sight. There's Mutational Meltdown and Hackmatack, which both sound phenomenal -- and, I guess I'm a sucker for presentation/marketing/packaging -- I feel like if it's packaged in a genie bottle, it's guaranteed to be good. Then there is the Incipient, foeder aged blood orange solera sour...sounds right up my alley.

Ultramoist, from Transient. Yes sir, that puppy went right into the freezer for immediate consumption. Love their stuff....same goes for Old Nation's Full Earth. We've been getting some of their stuff in GA but haven't seen that one yet. Then there's a Jolly Pumpkin, haven't had anything from them in ages, Kiviq, an oak-aged saison with blackbery, lime & salt (hint: it was a damn treat).

FINALLY, a couple of cans of Urban Artifact Pickle, which...I'm just being real...I ordered 3 6-ers of before this and have been KILLING them during yard work and such. They're way more cucumber-forward and light than the Martin House beers that @r0rschach sent around to a lot of us (and got me straight-up hooked on), but that also means that DAMN, THEY GO DOWN EASILY!! I love em, thank you for helping to replenish my stash, @strohme2 !

A solid box, man, just a solid box. I appreciate all the beers, and the effort you put into getting them together, as well as the extras. To be honest, and I think I speak for most of us -- the regional food contributions are almost as much fun as the beers. They at least are lots of fun enjoying them together.

Cheers, Justin! You're a true homey!

**PS I didn't quite get the blind beer correct -- I figured it was a barleywine or old ale by the nose, didn't expect a BBA stout. Working on that cute lil shorty 8oz'er now. Thanks for including that!

So, @strohme2 's box showed up on Friday, then @LloydDobler and his Lobo ass ninja'd me on Saturday because, I guess, he heard I like me some Transient, and pickle beers.

Same story as the post before, I've already worked through most of these ( a real struggle, I assure you *eye roll*)...

The man gets me, that's all I'm sayin.

Transient IPAs like Rainbows & Waterfalls, Hodag, then their Bark Star stout, Fodder Lagger (nice work!), and a new variant of Poppin Pastels to me (dude...those are great!). Then bottles of Candyland of the Mind & Aviation sours. I expect quality.

A new brewery to me: 2Toms. Complexity Amplified & Guatavita IPAs for dem fresh brewery ticks!

Freedom of Expression from good ol Revolution Brewing, which I just basically straight chugged through last night around 11PM. No Ragrets.

Then...the precious. Epicurious spicy pickle beer from Urban Artifact. So...the UA Pickle variants sold out SURPRISINGLY fast through their website (including a $28 crowler of wine-ba Pickle ---that's a bit on the pricy side, IMO, yea??? I woulda prob bought it though hah...), so this will be a welcome addition to my pickle beer obsession.

Thanks a million, man! I'll have to return the favor and blind-attack one of your porches here soon enough -- none of you are safe. NONE OF YOU, K?? Can't request a double-forward if I don't give ya an option

Cheers, @LloydDobler , and anyone that can make it through two long-winded posts from me. Join me with a drink! You've earned it!

This one is a stout, trouble picking out any adjuncts. I get a little bit of barrel but not overpowering. Maybe some chocolate. Wife picks up cinnamon, but I’m not getting any of that. No idea on this one, but it’s pretty good.

Bourbon County ‘14. That, or ‘13 were my favorite years for this guy. It’s tailed off a bit but was awesome to have this again. Thanks @FlintB

It looks like new guy @JayWhitson has struck me with some of Montana's finest. All brand new breweries and ticks for me here, along with a nice variety of styles. He even threw in some elk sticks (which I started into), cookie waffles (those are gone!), and an interesting huckleberry hot sauce. Thank you very much Jay. I'll keep your address for record keeping purposes of course. Cheers
