Wow, nabbed Jack's Abby Maibock at Mr. B's. Holy shit, it's pure nectar. Don't miss it. I can't imagine a Maibock tasting a hell of bit better. Exceptional! Canned 5/05/20.

    Prost cans fucking rock!

Gotta look for Jack's Abby, though. Is the Saxony Lager around? I think that is my favorite of theirs.

Haven't seen it. Seems like we get drops quarterly, verified by @JacksAbbyBrewing in another thread. These typically include the current kellerbier, hoponious, post shift, and a seasonal.

Anybody had the BFL from Bierstadt yet?

No, but Gottscheer has been my favorite beer this summer.

That's their Bavarian Export. There definitely aren't many of those around. Augustiner Edelstoff is the only other one I've ever seen in the US, and those bottles are usually older than dirt.
I still need to try Bierstadt's. So far I've been getting my fix via their canned hell and dunkel.

I went to get Slow Pour and Helles a few weekends ago and with Dunkel and Gottscheer, as well

Stopped in my LBS yesterday and saw a six of Prost Marzen in the cooler... grabbed it immediately (duh)

Dudes not sure if they could scan it to even sell as the rep had just dropped it off... it scans.

Waited until 3 seconds after I got home today to try because it was still warm when I got it... its incredible- smooth, nice light sweetness, and beautiful looking.

Not sure when I will get to have more but I’m looking forward to it... canned 7/7/2020

@gyorgymarlowe You were dead on about that Jack's Abby Keller Maibock. Truly delicious, and the malt almost reminds me of a slightly sweeter fresh baguette, balanced perfectly with hops.

Sounds great. Probably better than my homebrewed maibock. It came out like maibock flavored cough syrup. Dafuq.

Honestly, I got a sixer of Pug Ryan's maibock or helles Bock a few years ago, and it had a strong cherry taste to it to me. I was not a fan.

    What y’all mean ‘yikes’?

My hawt take is that we’re seeing these types of delicious seasonal bois FIRST... rather than nearly exclusively shitty pumpkin ‘beers’

Maybe 2020 isn’t the worst after all?!
