I think posting it on social media counts as officially saying it was happening.


Even if they did delete it since for some reason it didn't occur to them that having lines in the COVID hotpost wasn't a good idea.

Angry chair did say....in the post before it was deleted. That's the reason there was a line. And it sold out yesterday.

If it was not going to happen...I feel AC would've said otherwise.

Loving these online AC Releases...not really missing the 5 AM trips to stand in some poor guys front yard hoping to get a bottle...hopefully this change is permanent even when "normalcy" returns one day

 

I have mixed feelings about it. When it meant a 2+ hour drive to Tampa to stand in line at 5:00 AM it was an easy no for me but that meant I either missed it, traded for it or enjoyed at shares. Now I can schedule my 2 hour drive and I can get the beer but I drove last Friday (4+ hours round trip) and now I am doing it again this week.

I guess there are worse problems I could have!

 

theyre really kicking ass with all these bottle drops lately, seems like multiple per week. and loving the online format

 

I was talking with the staff Saturday and they said they may keep doing online sales but could possibly make the pick up window 9-12 on the Saturday after its released online. This would cut down on the line but also let them get the bottles out of for the brewery just as fast. Dunno....

Doing it online is alot more work then just showing up on a sat morning, open the bay door and have at.

 

while COVID is still rampaging this state, having a three day window to pick up bottles seems like the safest option as it spreads out the number of people that are there at one time.

Having that release with all those people lining up was a shitty move on ac’s part.

 

I should clarify... after the pandemic is over. Not any time soon

I actually wished they'd change one of the days during the pandemic to a early time like that. Just one of the 3 days.

I'd happily roll out to just grab bottles early and roll back
