    I love pumpkin ales and am hoping this year's Fall pack actually has more Fall beers than Oktoberfest like last year. That said, what in the hell are they thinking? This looks like a Summer Ale with pumpkin. I'm glad they listened to all the people clamoring for that..........

    I may be wrong, but IIRC Lagunitas uses the Fuller's strain (either Wyeast 1968 or White Labs 002, I can't remember which).

    Just got a reply from Sam Adams. The fall variety pack will be Boston lager, Octoberfest, Jack-O, and Sam 76.

    Sam 76 is rather disappointing. I rated it a 2.75, rDev -24.7%. :nauseated_face: Please, include something with more flavor! Like........Utopias!:yum:

    I get the BL and of course the O-fest...replace the 76 with the Cream stout and the Jack-O with the Honey Porter or Black Lager...and I'm in...

    I'm almost ready to start to get into all the fall beers however we're going on our 2nd week of upper 80's and 90's here. I'm currently crushing some Summer Shandy's and pale lagers! Usually a week or two into August and I start craving some of my fall favorites. I'm excited to see what they'll put out. Hopefully with all that's going on, it'll be something new and exciting.
