I see Riwaka Chroma from FLX is up. Can appears to be a Benjamin Moore comparison of shades of cream? I don't recall many Riwaka highlighted beers so I'm very curious. Probably gonna get some.

This was exactly why I was asking. That plum one was gross but the raspberry one before it was great.

I will say I do like the added abv punch of the Frankensour™️ style, but OH is definitely hit or miss with it.

All Riwaka Everything was one of my favorites last year so hoping it makes a return. For now I’ll settle for Riwaka Chroma.

Just got my first shipment of OH beers (mixed 12-pack), only the third time I’ve ever gotten my hands on some. Noticed a few of the cans felt ‘squishy’ when I took them out of the fridge to take a haul photo (didn’t notice this when they arrived). Cans deformed easily with just a light touch. Any of you guys ever experience this with OH beers? I’ve never seen this with cans from any other brewery. Could it be the thickness of the can walls, or a filling issue?

Where they laid down flat in your fridge or in the box they came in. If they were than yeah the cans can become squishy due to something about how yeast settles

Nope, standing up in the fridge.

How squishy do you mean? I've definitely been able to squeeze in the aluminum and make dents if I try.

‘Squishy’ as in the can would deform with a light touch. Sides of the cans would warp just picking them up. The other cans felt like bricks in comparison. Another night in the fridge and the cans in question still give a little, but at least return to their normal shape immediately.

Hmm have you ever opened your fridge and see an otherworldly creature inside say "Zuul"?

I keep reading about an aluminum can shortage, maybe cans have to get thinner to get all that beer and soda out.

Ha, not since I thoroughly sanitized it last summer. It had gotten kinda scary before then. :grimacing:

My dad had some cans of Sloop Juice bomb that he left sit warm for a while, and they ended up like that. He said he tried having one and it was totally flat. But I've never seen that with OH.

Holy shit. I was on the fence for this round of shipping but $20 to ship plus and $7 in tax took me firmly off it.

Yeah I saw that but refrained even from that. I wanted small strata and the trill collab more than anything else. Thanks for the heads up.

That's why you're the man Frank!

I'm still wondering when we're going to get a rebrew (or HDHC) 4th anniversary. Seems like now is the perfect time.
