some solid detective work there. I wasnt even looking that closely.

 

does it look any different than a normal BBT label?

Edit: upon closer glance it does look like gold lettering. never know if that’s some foofy camera effect though.

 

I'm looking at these photos. What am I missing here? I see a BBT bottle. Nothing, to my amateur eye, that would indicate Rye BBT.

if you go to the shop, there's more pics and one does say Rye 2020 on the label above the same opener pictured with the BBT

Ah. And this is why I'm an amateur. Pretty sweet that my new SP bottle opener comes with a Rye BBT! Anyone else get one?

Yeah, that's nuts, because if you're looking at that picture on a laptop, which is one of many on the keychain bottle opener product screen, at most angles I typically look at my screen, it's totally black where the rye is.

Able to grab a bottle before it crashed.

If that isn't the very definition of a special occasion brew I don't know what is.
