Considering the format (4 packs of 16 oz cans under $20), I’m not sure anyone locally is doing stouts of this quality and value. Sure I prefer Cuppa but that would be a $34 4 pack.

I’ve never cared for Columbia Coffee Expo but one of my absolute faves at FOBAB was their Slow Death, which I heard was a barrel-aged version of Columbian Coffee Expo. Their other FOBAB entry (something with rye?) was good, not nearly as memorable though.
Ah, remember those olden times when it was OK to be in a packed, enclosed space and have 4 of your friends drinking right from your glass throughout the night? We were all so carefree and naive back in our youth. Damn you, coronavirus!!!

If we are talking value, 100%. I was quoting beerwise.

Exposition is my favorite. Test your might was good and I thought fat bear was fine. Had it next to pb cuppa and pb narrow gauge and was noticeably worse.

Curious as to why it was named A Digital Frontier given the hop combo of Mosaic and Citra which yield HB's Grid and Double Grid. Shouldn't this be called Triple Grid?

Maybe it’s some sort of Tron reference.

Criminy, I Want to Believe looks like the thickest non-milkshake beer I’ve ever had. This is seriously like straight-up pulpy OJ. My wife tasted it and said “Are you sure you bought beer?”

Those are my least favorite hazy IPA’s. Just sweet sugary syrup overpowering all other flavor profiles.

I Want to Believe may look thick, but to me it drinks as one of the most balanced HB hazies they put out. A nice touch of hop bite while still being soft. Definitely not sweet or sugary. Probably a top 3 HB for me. This batch was close to perfect.

Crossing my fingers* that their Belgian yeast issues return just so I can make a "Tripel Grid" joke**.

    *not really doing this.
**this seemed funny in my head but looks pretty asinine when typed out.

The Mexican lager seems to be in short supply. Beer Cellar was out in about 10 mins, and the places by my work only got Urbs and the TIPA

OB sold out of Soar before Digital Frontier. The glass is pretty cool. Still glad I didn't buy it.

It may just be me, but find I like these HB beers about 2-3 weeks after they hit shelves. Lately I find myself waiting a couple weeks to drink them.
