Had a 2012 BADL last night with a couple of gentlemen, and I thought it tasted great. I think the barrel was still there big time. Definitely that familiar sweet DL base and like one of guys noted, it has a bit of that dark fruit flavor too (which I don't mind at all). Typical thick, sticky feel from DL. The beer I'm sure was ridiculously good on the fresher side, but for an 8 year old beer I think it's still really good.
