So this rye version would be bbt 2020? Or still have regular bbt in Nov?

White label SdF b 3-5 have been on a two year pattern, I assume that'll continue. Would be pretty cool if they started releasing more often though

It’s always been weird to me that white SdF is every other year but Pinot is yearly.

weird too, since it is their flagship beer. is it because so much of SdF is used for other beers (pinot, fruited fermiers, oude fermier)?

Agreed, but the demand is still outpacing supply significantly which ultimately drives that segment of the craft beer 'world'. Here's hoping SP can eventually scale enough to meet demand while not sacrificing the very high quality being put out (tough to do - here's looking at you 2020 BA Abraxas). These beers are now approaching (or have met) above average Sonoma/Napa Red Wine pricing, which was ultimately to be expected, but still a bit of a drag for those of us actually cracking this stuff and drinking it.

I'm not sure if I read your comment properly, but I thought 2020 BAA was excellent

I believe I might be in the minority here but I found this last batch still OK, but comparably thin and lacking the nice mix of barrel to cinnamon character that really made previous iterations next level.

BAA 20 is far better than 19 but that’s about it.
