The Zenne box lasted 5 minutes. Probably 4 and a half to be precise...

 

Anyone happen to know when and how often the web shop tends to offer on-premises pickup instead of shipping?

 

Really lucky I got the email in time yesterday and could buy the Zenne and the berry box. Looking forward to try these new beers.

they’re all very good. Older ones are... older and have matured a bit. I expect the same from 3-6

 

Can anyone provide insight on using Etre Gourmet as a proxy? Cost for 6/12 bottles proxied to the US?

 

Proxy fee is usually 20 EUR for 6x750ml or 30 EUR for 12x375ml.

Base shipping to the US is 95 EUR for the larger box (fits ~14 750mls or ~26 375mls). The next tier down is 81 EUR - not sure on the exact cutoff for that but you can't fit 2 3F packs into that.

There's an option to use DHL for an extra 60 EUR. Have seen reports of people getting stuff as quickly as a day or two later. Did DHL on the last one and it was about a week for me to get it (my prior non-DHL shipment took a month to even leave Belgium).

 

@bread_c curious if they just hold your beer until you have enough to fill a shipper to the US.

 

I think they typically hold beer for up to a quarter. I'm not sure if there's a hard cutoff / how flexible they are on that but they'll e-mail towards the end of the quarter.

They were very flexible about holding on to stuff longer when COVID dramatically cut bpost's shipping capacity.

 

Yeah, beware of the pandemic shipping delays, I don't know what the status is now but I had a box addressed to me stuck at BPost for almost 2 months.

 

On Facebook I've been seeing boxes from Etre & BIAB flying through at normal times (10-20 days for most US based). Lots of people have been using the DHL express option from Etre which is pricey but people have been getting boxes in the US in ~4 days & packed more securely

 

I’ve receieved my boxes from etre in 10 to 12 days from date of order. There have been no delays for me.

 

That's crazy. To clarify, my box was shipped from another trader so it wasn't thru Etre or a professional service of any kind.

 

Is anyone at OBD today ? Would love to hear if the new Zenne is available to buy or just for onsite consumption.

Will answer my own question if anyone else is curious : blends 92, 93 and 94 are to-go, 95 and 96 are onsite only

 

Anybody know what the OBD to go boxes look like?

 

The OBD pack is :
Zenne 92, 93, 94, 2 OG and one Homage Bio Frambozen

There are a few other to go bottles, including schaerbeekse 2018 and speling V.II

Glad I got one, was surprised how long the package was available. Looks like they sold a huge stock.
