I’m on the Throop train. Yea, it’s not a Kolsch, but if is a delicious dry hopped session beer

 

The Way In Total Daylight was fantastic

 

I have heard this and am kicking myself for not picking some up.

I still saw it on shelves as of yesterday. Repeat can so I’d be surprised if you couldn’t still find some

 

I don’t recall ever seeing it. Where do you see it is a repeat?

 

I had one last night and it was good. However instead of having a big Nelson note, I felt like it sort of fell into the “house flavor”. Which is to say it was pretty good but I wouldn’t have FOMO about it

 

He *may* be confusing it with a Run to Daylight which I also did when it was announced

 

as someone else said, I mixed this up with run to daylight. Whoops.

Those are some god awful lactose bombs.

 

I remember the beers being excellent, but as you said lactose bombs. If they could reign in the sweetness (which it really doesn't need so much) and just let the rest of the beer shine they'd be doing themselves a great service.

 

This could be said about all of their double IPAs.

 

I really liked all three of the collaboration pours with Revolution this year. My first order stocked up on Base, with a four pack of the new lager Maintains and Shapes. Going to head back for more four packs of M & S this week. I'm not a big NEIPA fan unless the beer is balanced, and Superstructure fits the bill.

I like a several of HB's Imperial IPA and NEIPA offerings:

Imperial IPAs: Old School Hawaii Vibes, Unwind Your Mind, Normalize the Signal, Halogen Farm

NEIPA: Bughouse Square, Skrap Metal, Swivel Arm Battle Grip, Preserved in Three Dimensions, The Jewels, Galaxy Bowl

I'll typically buy a single for new pours to determine if I want more in the future. These beers seem to be sticking around for longer or are widely more distributed.

 

What you have listed as Imperial IPAs I would list as Milkshake or NEIPAs.

I don’t think I’ve had a milkshake IPA since this one last year. This killed the style completely for me.
