Other Half (2020)

Lime snaps -- it's a crisp, crushable lager. Barely getting any lime...which is a good thing. I was concerned it would be disgusting. Would recommend if you want a light lager.

 

With 30+ cans and bottles available and my father in law visiting next week, what do I get for him? For reference he likes the occasional Guinness and a glass of white wine - average of maybe two drinks per month.

I get really strong FOMO vibes on these FLX drops especially now the DSC (can I do that?). Does anyone know what the volume of their upstate shipments are? Are they only available for curbside?

 

Martial's Crest is less sweet than most OH pastry stouts, sweeter than the Short Dark series, and that's the most important thing about it.

Big vanilla flavors up front, coffee bitterness from the middle to end with slightly boozy finish. Relatively low carb, super thick. I think the price is high but I am enjoying it.

Not recommending per se, but if you were curious that's my take.

 

If you're taking requests, could you make a note about the importance of ending a post with proper punctuation? Capitalization also needs to be seriously addressed.

• Was this intended to be released at green city this year (even though it was cancelled by covid)? But still being released?
• What does “MB” mean?

• Is Martial’s Morph some version of last week’s freaky Friday release?
• How does one explain pricing for this case? $180 comes to an average of 7.50 per can. Would it be that the four stout cans count as $15 each ($60) and the other 20 cans of hops equate to $6 each ($120)?
• Are any beers HDHC or DDH?
  
• Will this “box” set actually come in a box?
• Will Martial’s Morph come in its own main box within the box?
