I hope that means "Deep Woods Reveal Day", because I could use something fun to think about!!

 

One thing that I would like to get ahead of, is when we make a variant for a release party. Keep in mind that in most cases these are made in a single keg or from a single barrel for the very first time, without the advantage of scale to help blend and/or balance the flavors. When we (or you) like a concept and we decide to make it a major/canned release in the Deep Wood program, well over a year of thought, process, and care go into that release, along with tweaks to make it better based on your feedback as well as our own. In many cases, the concept of the beer is remaining the same, but the updates and improvements are significant. Scale is our friend, not our enemy. Just want to mention that in case you were to see something that you thought was too sweet, or too dry, etc. at a release party being promoted to the big leagues. There's a good chance we agreed or listened and updated accordingly.

 

I hope this is the Binnys collab announcement and not something ominous like he just got in his car to go to Kenosha...

Nope. They might be pairing that with the TBA Collaboration, which I think might be Hop Butcher... orrrrr Phase Three

How will these releases run?


While we're going to miss your presence in the Taproom, we want everyone to stay safe for when we do this all again next season. So these releases will run curbside-only, like the Supermassive Café Deth and Mixed Berry Ryeway releases -- online preorders and contact-free pickup.

If we are going to be hoping, let's hope they aren't and that Covid disappears so we can all wait in line and drink in the taproom ala the olden days.
