Comrade tapped their dry-hopped pilsner on Saturday. Hopped with Saphir and dry-hopped with Saphir and Strisselspalt

Zwei is releasing a Baltic Porter!

Haven’t had it yet, but I am very excited to say the least.

This is incredible. Super smooth semi sweet chocolate and a nice roast level... little bit of dark fruit. The 8.4% is hidden as well as any higher strength beer I’ve ever come across.

My only issue is that I only kawp’d one crowler.. :sob:

I imagine some people have had this before, but 4 Noses Oktoberfest is incredible. Had it at Wild Provisions who'd just tapped it. Double-decocted and much maltier, less sweet than a usual OF. Was bummed WP didn't have their two Czech lagers on tap though, the pilsner and the dunkel. Their taplist isn't on their website, so you might want to call before you go there if you're looking to drink some lagers. They did have to-gos, and I'm sipping the pilsner right now. Also, very tasty, hoppier than I thought.

Damn. I almost headed over there this weekend. That would have been quite the disappointment considering how damn far Boulder is from A-Town. Hopefully they still at least had the cans. The cans can't capture that texture from the faucets, but the beers taste the same.
Still, just about everything I've ever had from 4 Noses has been pretty fantastic. They've been around a while, too.

Apparently there's a dark version of Ska's Mexican Logger coming pretty soon. I absolutely love Negra Modelo and saaz hops, so I have pretty high hopes for it. I dunno if I've ever had a bad beer from those guys, too.

outside of endless chips and salsa, Negra Modelo is my favorite reason to go out for Mexican... really looking forward to trying Skas take on it!

Same. My local joint (Guadalajara) knows to bust out the Negra Modelos and Bohemias when my wife and I roll up. I think we're the only ones that order anything but Corona or Tecate.
Since we're doing 90% take-out these days (and they stopped brewing in Mexico for a while), I've got a craving right now.

Any specs or promotional stuff for the dark Mexian Logger? I did a search without luck.

We've been getting the bottles for a while, but the Bull & Bush should have Andechs Doppelbock on tap sometime in the next week or two. It's an unusual sight on draft in the US.
That's an all-time top 3 beer for me, although at this point I barely even try to rank anything.
They also have Tipopils (American names aside, it's damn good), Plank heller weizenbock, Weltenburger dunkel, and Uerige Sticke.

TRVE has a new pilsner out. Actually not sure if they've brewed it before. It's called Arise and comes in six-packs. Billed as a German-style pilsner. Excited to try it.

It’s a new one for us, and one of our first shots at a German-style pils. That one got a long, proper conditioning time (even more so than Cold).

Just tasted and reviewed a 16oz can of Helles lager from Bierstadt. Very tasty indeed! Right next to my top ranked Slow Pour Pilsner for me.

Hot take: If we're talking draft, I'll give the nod to Slow Pour, but when it comes to cans, Helles > Slow Pour.
