I love Mighty Oak, happy to see that they are being featured in a big stout release.

Sorry I missed this one earlier. Whenever I see “citra” in writing I award anyone/anything a HS point

Duvel Citra for 1 hop showers point?

Also I'm surprised none of the stouts included in the 24 pack are available

Sports Ballin' aka The NBA Jam can is super smooth, it was canned on 8/18. There's a ton of fruit, papaya, pineapple, and maybe a banana like taste. I think "fruit cocktail" used to be thrown around a bit more a few years ago, but it's a good descriptor for this beer.

Round 2, I wasn't sure which one I grabbed (Level 2: Broccoli Kong vs Broc Squatch), but it's entirely clear it's the Sabro beer. If you've been wondering how much coconut Sabro puts out, this is a good beer to try. Also super smooth, canned 8/17.

I’ve had a bunch so far and the stand out has been Martial’s Morph (weird an OH stout is my favorite among a bunch of IPAs.) Still got some to try yet so we'll see where I land when trying everything.

Yeah I was bummed I didn't see that for curbside.

Edit: And they've put out some incredible stouts over the years when they got the right combo of additions. Snowbirds, Concentric Grooves, Bananaversary, BA double drupe, 4 Roses Snowbirds

Wrapping up tonight with Return to Broccoli Island and I've never gotten this much berry in an OH beer with Mosaic before. There's a fantastic berry note and a pleasantly dry finish.

Edit: The finish on this is fantastic. I just keep tasting berries, though more tart raspberry than blueberry which I'm ok with!

To me OH is consistently good at PB stouts, which I can’t say for any other brewery. All their other stouts have always been hit or miss for me but the PB ones are always great.

So I didn’t splurge on the box set but picked up a few 4-packs today. Got sports ballin, level 3 and level 4 and stoked to try them based on @algebeeric_topology reviews.

While I feel bad for those that have to wait for the delay in packaging, I did see someone walk out with a branded box/case when I picked up at curbside! Thought those won’t be ready till Wednesday.

Btw, I emailed them asking if I can pick the beer up without the box and not only did they say yes but they also said they’d refund $10. So that was nice.

I can't, I'm sorry, these are the only three cans I picked up (Return to Broc: Island is 8/25). Sometimes Untappd users post pics of the stamps, though it sounds like @Peterock27 might be able to fill in some dates as he works through his cans (no rush!) Or @DrederickTatum with the whole box (without the box)

I'm glad it worked out and you got the $10! I've always found them to be super nice, super helpful, and very straightforward. All the bar staff are great and I can't wait to be drinking at OH again!

Sounds like boxes were expected to arrive by Wednesday at the absolute latest, but didn't make it until Friday. I saw taproom manager Geriz (IG@BeerWithFlavor) while picking up earlier and he sounded super annoyed, as did OH Andrew. They're hypebeast capitalists and get demerits for that, but they hate letting people down and typically don't.

    sports ballin 8/18
    Level 3 8/19
    Level 4 8/19

I picked up all galaxy everything a couple days ago and it was canned 8/26!

Yeah I do feel bad for them and don’t think this was anything malicious on their end but still a disappointment for all who ordered so far in advance. The $10 cardboard packaging slowed things up, which if you think about it should have been printed prior to release (or even prior to announcement of release).

Gah, All Galaxy Everything was the one I went back and forth on but regret not picking up. I figured there was enough Galaxy in the Greem City beers I picked up and I've still got recent Space Diamonds. I hope it's great and they rebrew it soon enough, preferably to coincide with North Brooklyn delivery!

DDH algae is really good - definitely not on par with the best batches of DDH SD - but gives much needed hope to the bad galaxy batches of late.

Interested to know as well. I have reservations at Red Hook Tavern tonight, so best believe I'm swinging by on the drive back home.

As a former FF fanboy I opted for the Double Fantasy RPG and wasn't let down. Slightly on the sweeter side but otherwise very smooth and tasty. No real hop bite despite everything thrown in.
Would have guessed there was some lactose added but see no mention of it. Canned 8/20.

Now patiently awaiting Pastrytown's Chocobo stout.
