Carton Brewing (2020)

Have any of you guys drank Joe B. Town yet? 2 cans dropped off their sale list I’m kinda bummed about but I’m thinking about doubling up and getting 2 4-packs of this. I am going to the Wegmans by Kane so I’m hoping some Carton turns up there too.

 

I had a four pack of it along with a six pack of This Town. I thought it was really good - enjoyed the Nelson dry hop (but I really enjoy Nelson in general). I recommend Canyon if they still have it.

 

I love Nelson...in an IPA. So I was curious as to how that would work in a Helles. Yeah, This Town was a beer I was looking forward to getting but it’s off their mysquare page now.

 

The Nelson makes 07750 my favorite Dubviant and I thought it wasn’t too overpowering in Joe B. Town. Did you get the 07750?

 

I’m going tomorrow. They’re only offering OG o’ dub right now. I’m hoping I at least find This Town (or any other Carton) at that Wegmans.

 

Sorry I forgot you posted that. They might have the 07750 in Wegmans. They had it at mine and another beer store in town. Digger and 2020 too so you may have options.

 

If I can get the o’ dub variant and that 2020, I’d be ecstatic.

 

Wouldn’t be surprised to find them at Joe Canals either.

 

I had 2 4 packs and absolutely loved it. The perfect amount of hoppiness. Nelson is also my favorite hop.

 

A lone case of SS 2020 was spotted @ RW Pennsauken today. There’s about 3 packs left.

 

What are the chances we see Peitsche, German style pils, in time for the biggest German beer holiday?

 

looks like they re-released Frusta today... but would also love to see the German interation in this series.

 

Did a Kane/Carton run today. Very nice that both Kane and Carton (and Magnify too) have Italian pilsners. Looking forward to drinking and comparing.

 

I’m pretty sure Augie mentioned at one point that there would be a few different versions Whip (Italian, American, Czech, German, etc) so I wouldn’t be that surprised to see “Peitsche” at some point.

Also in the IG comments it was mentioned that Festy is getting packaged. I’m more excited for that than anything!

 

Frusta is really solid. Great Pilsner -possibly my favorite lager/Pilsner of the summer, and I’ve had a few. Hope they keep releasing this one.

 

So I had to do a side by side of the Italian pilsners. They looked almost identical. Both really sold and refreshing but I have to give it to Carton for an extra pop of taste.

 

Btw anyone else think the Kane can looks a LOT like Other Half Double Mosaic Dream?

 

If you have one of each left...go blind and let us know if it’s same conclusion. I love doing that, unless it was blind ignore said comment But then again if they look identical you wouldn’t have a problem blind as long as you didn’t pour them.

 

Never noticed but yes it does a lot.
