not sure if I have funny stories, just a lot of hard life lessons.

 

I don't know if I'll make the deadline...but my story starts at an engagement party...it involves a "yacht", mushrooms, Captain Crunch, potatoes and carrots, and a shitload of giggles. I'll be back.

Good idea.

I’ve done a lot of cross border trading the past few years. I’ve learned two things:

1. UPS/FedEx is cheaper for you to send up here than USPS. If you print Your label online and use the UPS code EASY, the cost can drop to almost what it costs for a domestic parcel. For me, using Canada Post/USPS is best, even if it may be a little slower at the moment.
2. Declaring sauce or glassware etc. with a value under $40, and sending as a gift tends to see the package through customs fastest. It also helps on my end with import charges. If $100 or so is declared, I usually end up getting a $40-50 charge upon receipt of the box.

We do have some great beer up here, and it is getting better all the time. It just so happens I went shopping today at two of the top ten Canadian breweries on Untappd. Some of today’s haul will likely find its way into a box or two...

 

I can't swing it this go around, but I am glad you remembered and reminded me, regardless. I will just lurk in the shadows and observe. Happy trading!

Just got this killer box from @FBarber from his Champions League based LIF. I told him not to go crazy with this one since he had just sent me a Ninja box a couple weeks ago. He didn't listen. This was a great box, and how he fit it into a medium flat rate, I have no idea!

My story-telling LIF ended last night. Time to pick a winner. We had 5 official entries by my count, each of whom has been assigned a random number based on the order in which they were submitted.
