I know when Jon was still the GI rep, the plan was to potentially distribute these only through on-sale (i.e. bars/restaurants), and not through retail, since allocations to the state were so low. However, I don't seem to recall ever seeing these pop up in any of the bars in the area.

Did I just miss the bar roll-outs? Or is there some kind of delay? Or did we just get screwed by GI?

I never saw them, but I didn't scour the galaxy for them, either.

I heard that they may hit after GI has their new rep in place. But, that is just what I heard and I know how the rumor mill can operate.

I saw Bramble on the bottle list at the Happy Gnome last week, but at $25 and (more importantly) without others to share, I passed.

i believe both went straight to restaurants due to small allocation sizes. None went to liquor stores so i have been told.

I have a bottle set aside for a tasting, but am very tempted to hit up the Gnome for this.

Eff, I was just in St. Paul for the Final Five, walked in between Friday's games to the Happy Gnome, and didn't see a bottle list. I still enjoyed my short time there. I might have to come down this week now to watch the Sioux play in the West Regional at the "X" again and make another hike up to Selby!

You know I'm down... I think it'd be nice to split this 3-4 ways, if anyone else wants to jump on board?

Either one works for me. I'm off at 5:30pm in Saint Paul so it's a 5 minute drive for me.

I'm here at HG now. FYI its $28/bottle - really frustrating. So instead of giving them to bottle shops so we can enjoy them at our leisure - for $13/bottle - we get the pleasure of paying MORE THAN TWICE that and are forced to consume them in one sitting at a restaurant. Cheers to Goose Island!

Silly rabbit, what did you think would happen with that deal,Haha. There were quite a few people praising the old rep on how it was being done, really awesome and great. blah blah blah. But i'm with ya man, wish it was a bit cheaper (18 to 20 range), but at the gnome your going to pay, more then anywhere else.
