    Stone Brewing (USA) - Jägermeister Arrogant Bastard Ale.

    First off, I think that this tastes nothing like Jägermeister, which is a good thing in my book. Sure, there are quite strong notes of licorice, fennel and anise at work here, but this is thankfully nowhere near as sweet, boozy or driven by licorice as it could have been, although the fennel and anise notes are particularly distinct still.

    Holy shit, this is #13 today... @CanConPhilly . This is the cheapest beer at the Swedish monopoly, ringing it at about 80 cents. It’s made by Åbro, and it’s supposedly named after how Eminem pronounced Åbro at a music festival. It’s cheap, and it tastes like it.

    Roaring Table Whirlycaster Sour IPA (guava, key lime, lactose, vanilla, ginger, Galaxy hops). Bright, funky, ripe guava, lactobacillus lemon tartness, ripe passion fruit, key lime sorbet, papaya, fresh cut grass, slight creamy vanilla, ginger spice on the finish. All the adjuncts work well with one another and don’t muddle one another. Even get a hint of the Galaxy hop presence. Great soft, creamy, robust feel for 6%. This brewery has been very impressive.

    Bell's was far inferior in my opinion. Too mild and not defined. Agree, Great Lakes nailed it this year. Cheers!

    Pork butts off the smoker and gone. Got some local corn again today and it was terrible. Second time Ive been let down which rarely happens. Its has to be the drought situation. We just didnt get enough rain to really support anything this summer. This wont let me down though.[​IMG]
