    There are some beers that, when you pop the top and catch that first glorious whiff, you know you’re in for a wonderful ride. Fresh Pliny is like that. Fresh Abrasive from Surly, before it changed, was like that. Abner is in that league.

    I can offer no higher praise than that. Tremendous beer, IMHO.

    Back in the day Abrasive was an absolutely stunning beer, you popped the top and the whole room was sweet fruit. I’ve had Abner on tap and imo it’s the best hoppy beer HF makes, and that’s a strong statement. I brought back multiple growlers so many years ago.

    I was at the store the other day staring at the shelf of Prairie Artisan stouts. I almost never buy them for myself because of the cost. However, if my target didn't have access to them...

    I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin beers. But i hope my target is because I just picked up a rather large one yesterday from a local.

    Funny you say that after the Busch Light Apple comment. I just recently mailed 120 Busch Light Apples to NY State for 1 btl of Forager Grove. Guy paid for most of the shipping on my end but it was 100lbs of beer. Apparently they were nowhere to found up there and he wanted a bunch for a guys weekend fishing trip.

    I really want to do this. I really do. Because of work I wasnt around much on Sundays so I kind of missed the boat. I just sent a box out to Cali so Im ill prepared and that really seems like kind of a short time period considering I would need to have a substantial and quality loaded box. I might have to pass again on this one. When is the eta for the next BIF?
