    Hope you enjoyed stage 15 of the TDF. I know I sure did. Not much of a sprinter fan, but I love the tough mountain stages where the riders really have to suffer and drive through the pain and mental roadblocks. Are you able to get to the mountains to see any of this? Hope you are. This is on my bucket list to be in France and watch it.

    Yes I did! The Slovenians are crushing everybody else this year. I’m putting money on Roglic and his younger countryman.

    No, I’m a bit too far from any mountains and the Alps are roughly six hours a drive from my bit of land here in the north. Biggest hill here and within a 150 km range is probably 200 metres.

    Sprints have long lost me, I see no reason to watch ~200km stages in the flatlands only to be excited for 2 minutes and the last kilometer.

    Starting the day with a Central Waters Brewer's Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout from 2016.

    A startling amount of floating sediment for a beer with no added ingredients, still tasty nonetheless. Cheers all!
