My wife ordered a bottle of BCBS at a bar once and, while we saw other peple were drinking out of snifters, the bartender dumped it into a pint glass for her. This is no cheap-o bar either. You expect to have proper glassware given their prices and atmosphere.

 

Likely just a mistake. It happens. I've gotten 20 oz pours at my local that should have been limited to 12oz pours. I saw a 20oz pour of DFH 120 min go out just a few month ago. It's always been a mistake. A mistake in my favor is almost always a good thing though.

 

$199 a sixth barrel would be my guess.

 

Last month I was served DFH 90 in a 22oz glass and they brought my fiancee's Ithaca Apricot Wheat out in a 10oz glass. Woops. I was feeling pretty nice after that 90 minute!

$15 for a pitcher!!! I just paid $13 for each 12oz of GI BCBS! I'd be there till closing, or until falling down if I could get Abyss for $15/pitcher!!!

Was out in Wrigleyville, shocked to see a BCS handle. Ordered it, served in a pint glass, 4 bucks. Saying I was hungover the next day would be an understatement.

 

Once got pints of GL blackout stout for 4.00, another time I got pints of Founders centennial for 1.50 at some bar by depaul.. i got hammered that night.

I work at a craft bar in Cali, and we will serve our beers in 6oz, 10oz, tulips, pints, and even pitchers. We just charge accordingly. And yes, some people do get pitchers of stuff like Firestone 16.

 

I got a pint of DFH 120 on tap for $5.00 about 2 years ago (bartender error). If i enjoyed the brew it would have been a great deal, but i did not like the beer. If it had been BCBS i' would have been in heaven.

 

My neighbor just texted me tonight from a local place that was serving up DFH 120 in pint glasses, now that was a first!
