Since I probably won't make it to the tasting room this month to try a taster, do you have any tasting notes on gray Monday? Being aged in scotch barrels, I have strong reservations.

Just in general, I do not enjoy any beer aged in scotch barrels. Granted it's a small sample size. But at 50 a pop, don't want to get burned.

I get lots of dark chocolate, toasted hazelnuts, a slight smokiness one the back of my pallet, but it works very well. It seems like they took Grey Monday, amped up all of the stellar flavors, and folded them into a dark chocolate brownie with slightly smoked almonds. You won’t be disappointed. Buy a bottle, and if you don’t like it, I’ll pay for it!

Anyone else have issues signing in to the new website using Chrome on Android? It appears to login, but it doesn't.

I have similar issues with Safari and the account login from side tab on the page. I log in and then try to open my account and it asks me to login again.

I found that if I login from the quick links menu at the bottom of the page it works.

Login does not work on chrome+iOS either. That stopped working early last week or so for me.

There are a few things you can add/do to a stout that are going to make it less likely that I will enjoy. The main ones are Scotch, Banana, and Cinnamon.

I almost didn't buy the Hoarders box because of the scotch and banana beers (I thought monkey business had bananas). But, FOMO, so I bought it. I am three beers into the box and am very happy so far.

Having the Monkey Business tonight the really enjoying the level of cinnamon. You can definitely tell the spice is in there but it works well with the other flavors and isn't overpowering. I think I might be over-sensitive to cinnamon and it is normally too much.

Little late here but finally trying The Berry. It's really tasty. Great balance, nice fruitiness, not overly sweet... but I don't quite understand the price point. Are huckleberries super expensive? Seems steep for a non-BA beer.

Ok, Gray Monday is fantastic. Strong sweet hazelnut and vanilla flavors balance out the bitter choclate char of Black Tuesday perfectly. Where Gray excels, I think, is the scotch barrel treatment. I compare my notes to Reign and, while a similar caliber beer, it finishes with a harsh bitter ethanol tinge. That should mellow with age. However, Gray doesn't have that. It finishes with a warm and slightly smokey spirit which doesn't deminish the sweet tone throughout. Yes, I taste a hint of scotch on the finish, but it is not peated in any way. That's the best way I can describe it. Hopefully that helps you guys who are sensitive to scotch

I skipped day 2 and went to day 3 with the second half of mine. Don't know if I liked it more, but certainly didn't like any less.

Can we bring back the society payment plan? Lump sum hurts even more during the year of Rona. Help me I’m poor.

I believe that all the bottles available to go are listed on their website: https://www.thebruery.com/pages/the-tasting-room-menu The non-member bottles are listed under the “bottles, cans, and crowlers” tab and the member bottles are listed below the Hoarder beers.
