Super surprising that an online beer pre-sale caused the site to not be available. First time in history for that. Surely will not happen again.
C'mon guys. We've all been through this so many times. It's just beer. If you're that concerned go to Binny's and get in line on Friday. Rev will learn from this and hopefully make changes for the next release.

 

This is now a line release at Binny's? Not snark--seriously asking.

 

Three years from now when this pops up in a Deep Woods Mystery Bag I'm going to be pissed.

Bit disappointing for my first attempt at a Revolution 'limited' release, but there'll be another one I'm sure.

 

I got 2 cans for @croush but I can blame “bad gateways” and give them to you instead. He will never know!

 

idk. I was just making light of the angst in here. I know it's disappointing in 2020 for websites to not be able to handle release traffic, but not getting a beer will not affect people's lives in any meaningful way and if they really really really need that beer they can go to Binny's and line up to pretend it's Rev's loading dock.

Noted. I will be less positive in the future.

 

For anyone that struck out today, just a reminder that unlike Supermassive and Mixed Berry, this release was split between Rev and Binny's and that Binny's got the MAJORITY of the cans. Still plenty of opportunity to get this.

 

I’m not 100% anti-proxy, but I do wonder how much that contributed to the issues here.

Count me in the "0 online confirmations, 1 credit card charge, and 2 email confirmations with the same order number" group. Which line do I stand in?

 

Well they got my money but upon emailing them apparently not my order...guess that's a thing.

 

Brother had the same issue. Charged his CC, but no confirmation email. Upon emailing Rev, they said the order did not go through, they will refund his CC in a couple days...

 

So when does Binnys locations start seeing distro of this? Today? This week??

On Insta, they said all Binny’s should have it this Friday.

Also, for those downstate, they said all Binny’s, save for Springfield, will get it. That goes against what @BeerCruncher said above. So those near Champaign take note!
