I just received confirmation email #3. I bet I'll now have to go to tent 4 instead of tent 3, lol.

And if they still have the Oktoberfest packs at the brewpub on Saturday, I'll definitely be swinging by to pick one up for the family after I grab Thundertaker from the taproom. My kids are at the age where they aren't big meat eaters, but for some crazy reason those kids are all about bratwurst. It's a win-win as dinner is served while I pour a couple Oktoberfests into one of those huge mugs and we do some family yodeling after some heavy-duty carb-loading with pretzels and sausage!

 

Only now did I go over 300 and I got an email for Supermassive. I didn’t for Mixed Berry

I've been waiting on them to put the Sanctuary #19 on to replace the #18 but they put on Thundertaker instead...

 

Glad I'm not the only one!! #18 was excellent, but I'm DYING to try #19...

 

I'm right there with you @ktr5010 and @GuyFawkes - was hoping to stop at Brewpub after pickup tomorrow and get a pour - it sounds fantastic!

SANCTUARY #19: CURSED MAN (BARREL-AGED CUVÉE)
Every once in a while, we get an opportunity to do something completely out of character. For this act of lunacy, we filled a WhistlePig Boss Hog Armagnac Rye barrel with Straight Jacket. After 6 months of slow drips, we got tired of mopping and transferred the beer to two Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels.
As if that wasn't quite enough, we blended in a touch of Very Special Old Ryeway we'd had aging in Woodford Double Oak barrels since late 2016. The result is a madman dripping with French and American oak, rye spice, bourbon flavor, barley sweetness, and two years of malt-transforming maturation. Crazy? Awesome? Crazy Awesome.

I received a e-receipt at 11:41 AM, and at 11:46 AM, they tweet out 125 four packs remain. Yesterday they email me and say my order was not legitimate. So I spend one hour and 45 minutes trying to get this beer (God I'm an idiot) only to have the order not go through, and I'm offered in return an opportunity to buy the next release early, at full cost.

I'm not going to sit here and pretend that I'm going to pass on their next offering, but this customer service from a brewery I used to highly respect, is utterly disappointing. I live close by and have been giving them my loyal business ever since their third anniversary, and this is how I'm treated.

I expect this from Goose Island.....not from a brewery like Revolution.

 

Sources close to the matter can report that #19 will be tapped tomorrow.

They fucked up once for an online pre-sale for the first time during a pandemic for a beer that is going to be distributed. Go get it at Binny's tomorrow and stop complaining.

LOL, I see I've upset the defend at all causes fanboys - you're right, the customer can never be wronged especially in any instance involving Revolution. I apologize and bow to the Revolution fanboy FUPA Gods.

We took the following path (approximately): Brewery fucks up > customer complains > customer's complaint is deemed illegitimate by brewery fanboys who will defend brewery even if they shot another brewery in the middle of 5th Avenue.
