If you're invited and you pay to be a part of something, you get advantages that general public does not. Imagine that.

 

People act like I'm disputing that. I'm not.

How is it a perk if you buy the beer anyway? What exactly is the "perk"?

 

So if we buy the beer anyway, why do members have to buy more beer than the public?

How are you buying more? It's the same amount. Instead of you buying it separately, you're buying a package.

Everyone's been vocal that they are in support of SP doing what they need to in order to treat their employees fairly. Everyone accepts that means packages for the Limited Releases. My point is that if they are trying to do right by their employees, why aren't members being asked to buy packages like the public for their guaranteed bottles? Members say they buy the beer anyway, so how is this a bad thing? Why are people acting like it's a sin to ask members to buy packages? And why do members care if it's a perk, since you're buying the beer anyway?

 

Dude seriously just let it go. Can we talk about something else for the love of Christ? I think you got your point across.

Pretty quickly, seems they only updated their logo to the light bulb in July. It's one thing to ape the name but then also the logo?

I'm gonna open a brewery called Dunkin Brewing using this logo, shouldn't be a problem at all.

 

Interestingly enough someone pointed it out to the coffee roaster back in July (https://www.instagram.com/p/CCouWKBhJoa/?igshid=1aos51e2wmra2) and their response was basically "Wow, what are the chances?"

 

That’s pretty insufficient. Hopefully they have a good backup plan.

 

You’d think they must have done a search for “side project” while creating their Instagram account (as well as perhaps their name directly). Thus necessitating their “dot coffee” after side project. Looks guilty as sin, and hard to believe it would be a true coincidence. Given that they are supporting inspiration, and thus ideas (and hence the light bulb and lightning strike), you can see where they are coming from. But it’s just too similar. I’m no trademark expert, and I know it’s been discussed to death in the various stone/ALDI threads, but it just seems hard to believe they could win this.
