    The Citra and Galaxy I had was good, has a slight taste of the very enjoyable savory and twangy that C+S had, but the Galaxy side of the house tastes like mediocre Space Diamonds, an off note that is kind of burnt tasting.

    I’m horrible at recognizing and distinguishing between hop varieties... but if there’s one thing I know is that I love me some Simcoe.

    The Threes delivery service has really completely changed my beer buying. A few weeks ago they had Tilquin Geuze and Mûre at the cheapest prices I’ve ever seen them in NYC. They still have 3F Geuze and A&G and had Hommage last week (and $15 cheaper than at the unnamed Brooklyn bottle shop I also saw it at). They’re getting in fun lagers like Schilling and less available German imports.

    And I can get it delivered the same day in Brooklyn? And their own beers (especially the lagers) are great?

    Parish is releasing a Freaky Friday DDH Double Citra Daydream.

    Their post mentions “Look for something special to come out of Brooklyn in the next couple of weeks as Other Half brews one of our most sought-after beers.⁣” so it’s safe to assume an OH GITM is coming up soon.

    Whew, love some Simcoe. Some of the best pours I've at OH have been batches of Forever Simcoe that were just outstanding

    Drinking an All Simcoe Everything and it's tasty stuff. Their description on the site is pretty spot on- it's berry forward, I'm not really getting the pineapple but some faint tropical notes, and it is very creamy. I would swear this has lactose if I didn't know better.

    Quite enjoyable!

    EDIT: Also I'm just gonna go ahead and voice some dissent on Ghost in the Machine...wasn't impressed when I had it. More importantly, when it comes to Freaky Friday, it'd be great to see more stout recipes being sent out way.

    Drinking a small Riwaka everything right now. I do love this hop, but it’s so floral and fruity, it doesn’t really taste like beer. Having said that, this beer is great.

    I got the original batch of this in Dec 2019 was it? I really enjoyed it back then. The Galaxy was there but didn't take over as much as the Ctira in Broccoli World was it? This was pre Bad Galaxy 2020 though it seems we have moved past that now.

    Fully agreed on the All Sim. I haven't had a tose beer in ages but the berry flavor very forward, with no weird aftertaste.

    Drinking a Return to Broccoli Island now. Having had everything from the mixed case now I have to say this is probably one of my worst overall beer purchases. (Thankfully split with a friend but still) Nearly $200 for some average haze. Must. Resist. Collabs.
