I can certainly understand the significance of their using nearby Roasterie coffee, but I kind of wish they had used beans from Broadway Roasting, Oddly Correct or Z's, personally. Though I guess McCoys already uses Broadway coffee in their Toddy Porter.

Wish we got disto from them out in PA. I like seeing breweries teaming up with other small companies like this. East End does this fairly frequently in Pittsburgh.

I'm sure Oddly Correct would supply an awesome unique coffee for them to use but I'm assuming volume and brand recognition factored into this. Nice to see they didn't throw ANOTHER coffee stout out there in a crowded field.

I remember that I really enjoyed the Chocolate Ale the one and only time that I had it. Hopefully this one is just as good!

I've been spending too much time on Imgur. I was fully expecting a face swap under the main photo.

Awesome! What the world needs is another ale with coffee added.

I do love Boulevard's Smokestack Series, and I'm sure this will be excellent just like the rest of the Series. However, the amount of coffee beers being brewed is reaching the point of ridiculousness. Consider me burned out...

Picked up two bottles to share with my pal, tomorrow, while we bottle our IPA homebrew.

I've spoken to the guys of Oddly Correct, really happy friendly people (I've never been there, met them at my work). They are very willing & interested in working with any brewery for collaboration. This reminds me, I really need to stop in soon. And yes, McCoy's collaborates with Broadway Coffee for the toddy's.

Coffee Ale should be available state-wide in California.

Fingers crossed BBQ and the next rye on rye make it to California as well!
