The last email I received was for additional Wisdom bottles. I was thinking the same as far as nothing new to buy too much of.

Curious how the hell that's gonna work.

While it's been a bit since the last release, it's not too far outside the norm when compared to last year. April 2019, the only bottle society release was MCAM (fresh and BBA), and June 2019, the only bottle society release was BBA Teotihuacan.

I'd have to check, but I think I've purchased more distinct beers so far this year than I had by this point last year. BA beer'll be ready when it's ready, I suppose...

Yeah just seemed like it'd been a while since I got an email and I've been having trouble getting them lately so I figured I'd ask here rather than bother Chloe again lol. Besides it was too quiet here.

What were the first 3? I couldn't find them and only signed up starting last year.

1 pound of Butterfinger per gallon of beer. Gonna be a thick one!

Thick like Heinz? I'll try one, but this is helpful for controlling my over buying at BS.

So for anyone in the society, can you opt out of certain bottles included in the year for doubles of others? I absolutely love their straight up barreled aged beers but I’m not pumped about the pastry forward ones.

Seems like the ones included in the membership are not the pastry forward options. For this release members just had the option to buy up to 3 at members discount.
There is no opt out that I know about. The expected members bottles are listed on the website.

I believe you're locked into the 10 bottles included with the membership (Barreled Souls determines which these are) plus the magnum, although I never asked whether I could decline the included bottle and pick another to be included instead (or doubling up on another included bottle).

For reference, here are the bottles that were included in the 2019 membership (along with my stab at pastry/non-pastry designations, lol):
    • Barrel Aged Big Bang (Hillrock Estate Rye) (non-pastry)
    • Barrel Aged Dark Matter (Hillrock Estate Bourbon) (non-pastry)
    • Barrel Aged Soul of a Lion (Hillrock Estate Bourbon) (pastry)
    • Stay Puft (pastry)
    • Barrel Aged Stay Puft (Booker's Bourbon) (pastry)
    • Stackz on Stackz on Stackz (pastry)
    • Barrel Aged Honey Pot (Buffalo Trace Bourbon) (non-pastry)
    • Barrel Aged Honey Pot (Rum) (non-pastry)
    • x2 Barrel Aged Mexican Donut (Booker's Bourbon) (pastry)
    • Members Only #4 magnum (pastry)

God the bottle society sign up window can’t get here soon enough. Every day I’m not in it and have to watch you all posting about members only bottles is pure torture.

Not member only, just first chance to purchase. Sit tight. 10/3 release

So how does it work? you can have 1 sample from the 1pp bottles? I havent looked at social media to find the answer.
Has anyone gone to a similar event at the brewery?
    Lineup does look nuts!!
