that’s a blown out palate my friend. You need a winter of lagers.

Or just buy old favorites too.

I find myself buying so much more Sierra Nevada, Revolution, Half Acre, etc. than anything else lately and it's made me appreciate those breweries that for a while I was taking for granted.

But yes, style variety is key too. I'm going through probably two dozen or so different Oktoberfests right now. Still want to try some new brown ales, pumpkin beers, etc.

Well, I believe Jim Koch when he says Sam Adams is complex. Perhaps some of these other breweries should start selling me on the complexities of their flagships over their one-offs.

Complexity isn’t something the most excitable American drinker is after right now. They’re after intensity and obvious flavors they don’t have to figure out for themselves.

if complexity were what the people wanted Breweries like Transient, Monkish, Hubbard’s Cave, Penrose, ect ect ect wouldn’t have turned towards hazy IPAs and pastry stouts, and eventually the fruit purée Smoothie. They would have continued featuring their favorite styles that inspired them to brew beer in the first place.

I wonder how 5 Rabbit closing their Bedford Park brewery will affect Hop Butcher

Would be cool if HB just took it over.

Grid is fire. Trying to think if I like it better than HA Smoking Gull.

Some of my Dirth Bath cans had some canning overspill... My car smells so good right now.
Back at work now but I was so tempted to lick the can, but you know, COVID :joy:
