Now at Roscoe's, sampling some migration fh straight outta Portland and Ecliptic fh Altair. Both good, though neither is in the fh translator's league. Probably prefer the Migration of the two.

I feel as if things are almost back to normal at Roscoe's. Strong taplist (with lot's of fh options, along with 2019 C&C bbomb, 2017 kbs and Holy Mountain demonteller), Steve Miller's abracadabra on the sound system and the 1982 version of The Thing on the video system. That's as close to perfection as I ever need to get.

(Holy shit! And now they're playing Super Trouper by ABBA on the sound system).

This just in: Breakside Fresh Hop Pilsner is terrific!

More news as the situation develops.

Tried it on tap at the Milwaukee location I think a week or so back. Completely concur. Probably the best fh pils I've tried so far this year (still thinking about the Occidental fh pils).

Finishing up my visit to Roscoe's with a glass of translator. I see now it's made with fh citra hops, which perhaps explains the huge fh hop presence on the nose and palate. Still the gold standard for fh ipas this year so far.

Picked up a can of Trap Door's Co-Hop Fresh Hop IPA....really good hazy with decent Fresh Hop note.

Also forgot to mention I grabbed a couple cans of What Fresh Beast last night. Just a massive hop party like last year....really good.

When I had that delicious pint of Breakside Fresh Hop Pilsner at Orenco Taphouse this afternoon, I also picked up a 4-pack of Sunriver Green Initiative Fresh Hop IPA. ABV Public House in Hillsboro also had Green Initiative in their coolers.

It sure was nice to get out and put some miles on the bike this afternoon.

One of my favorite fh ipas every year. Can't wait to try this year's version!

Tried the Ft George FH rock paper sterling. As others noted, it’s excellent. Gonna grab some more as I’ve seen it all over the place.

Grabbed cans of Breakside what fresh beast... excited to see if it’s as good as the hopworks FH hazy I had last week.

Saw a Matchless FH IPA on the shelves but didn’t grab it. Anybody had it yet??

Unrelated to FH Beers: saw Block 15 released a Nelson IPA in cans. Anybody had it? I love Nelson hops

Well finally made it home from the coast and decided to watch the hockey game at Breakside Milwaukie expecting to mellow into the evening with Woodlawn Pale, but it seems a lost sextile of FH Wanderlust made it on and probably won't last the night. So you know what I'm drinking.

Our last FH beer for this year gets kegged off tomorrow and will be draft only... The return of India Golden Ale, with fresh Crystal from Coleman Farms. Tried some today and it goes hard in the paint. There was will be a decent amount of kegs but don't wait to get some.

In other news, I'm really digging this FH Punk Rock Time from Baerlic. Also had their FH ESB with Mt Hood and absolutely loved it. Both worth going out of your way to get asap.

I know it's a high bar, but the fh wanderlust is probably my favorite of the Breakside fh ipas so far this year. Really just exceptional.

Don't mean to be telling tales out of school, but the IGA is on tap now.

Does this mean no FH Breakside IPA?

edit: FH IGA is on tomorrow.

Ok need to add another beer to top tier. ...green initiative Strata from Sunriver is really freaking good. Might be my favorite so far.....

Confirmed there will be no FH Breakside IPA. FH IGA is the last of the season. Will tune in tomorrow to get it before it goes.

Sadly, I think the plan for FH IPA got nixed due to complications from a couple days of work lost to the air quality/wildfire situation. I think the FH IGA will more than make up for it though.

Glad you liked it! Zero Hour, which is our fresh hop Citra hazy, should be canned next Friday, and then D’Kine (fresh hop mosaic), probably a week and a half later or so after that. Best time of the year at the brewery, even though it means some extra time during the brew day for us.

Had a few fresh hops today. Both strata and simcoe fresh hops from Bend Brewing were very well done. Not the biggest fan of fresh hop translator from ruse, which is strange because I usually live most everything that they do. El dorado fresh kids from breakside was quite good, as was the Fresh IPA from Fort George. Thought the fresh hopped Ripe from GN was quite good, but still have a hard time with hop burn from fresh hazy IPAs.
