The current box being shipped might be the best one yet, assuming they mean the All Simcoe Everything mentioned in the IG description and in the picture on their website, not the Small Simcoe Everything on the website description of the box.

I'm enjoying the flavor of this Citra+Galaxy a lot, though it feels like it could just use a little something else to break up the sweet fruitiness, be it a bit more carbonation for a lighter feel or some bitterness to cleanse the sweetness. I wouldn't describe it as thick or heavy, just in need of something a little different.

Shane from Carmine street beers just posted that he’s opening a new beer bar at the corner space on Smith & Garnet sometime next year.

Look for him to have a pretty stellar line-up when it opens early 2021...

There’s an existing commercial space on the corner of Smith & Garnet? Good luck to them but seems like an odd choice of location

There is a building on the corner that was for sale a while back. It used to have an electrical contractor's shop on the ground floor. My guess is that's the spot.

    New stuff today:

    In before @NewmansOwn

Enhanced Mind HDHC Imperial IPA (10.2%) Enhance Your Mind gets the HDHC treatment. Simcoe, Motueka and Citra dominate with big doses of Citra and Simcoe Cryo and the ultimate in dense hop products Citra Incognito. $24 per 4 pack. ⠀
    ⠀
All Citra Everything Experimental v2 Imperial IPA (8.5%) with Phantasm. Our favorite vehicle for serving you Citra gets another new twist. V1 brought you Incognito. Now V2 brings you another experiment in flavor with Phantasm powder. Derived from NZ Sauvignon Blanc grape skins this brings big thiol character to the beer which is a big player amongst the compounds that drive big tropical flavor in beer. $22 per 4 pack. ⠀
    ⠀
Super Relaxed IPA (7.6%) No worries, everythings going to be alright, especially when you have Galaxy, Citra, SImcoe, Motueka and brand new Australian experimental hop HPA016 in the mix. Lots of tropical fruits and melon with some soft orange character. $18 per 4 pack. ⠀
    ⠀
Short Dark and Handsome with Coffee + Coconut (7.2%) Our updated Short Dark recipe conditioned on wood fire roasted coffee from @mightyoakcoffee and then condition on mounds of coconut and toasted coconut. $18 per 4 pack. (not available until 3pm today, canning running behind)

Really really wanted a SDH without coconut. Can someone report back on if the coconut is subtle or not?

Also, anyone got recommendations on any local (Brooklyn/tri-state) non BA stouts/porters (with minimal adjuncts)? I’ve been getting a lot of FOMO with these HF Everett cans I’ve been seeing...

Double Negative from Grimm, but we're probably a month away

FWIW @regan2489 and @hops_for_thought, Grimm notes they have DN bottles to go now. I assume that's from earlier this year or last year?

Going over to OH now to get some of that ACE and the SDH, will report back when I break into them!

Enjoying the ACE+Phantasm. Hard to describe the taste- the first half of the can anyway, which I had with a brisket taco- but the second half was very close their description (the tropical/melon flavor). I was eating a chocolate cupcake with the second half.

I guess my main takeaway is that it didn't remind me of ACE really, but that's not bad because it still tasted really good.

EDIT: I think I last had ACE in July so YMMV.

The last ACE I had was late March as I was slowly regaining my taste back from the covid. It didn’t taste good. This tastes much better.

but like @SeanEDPBK said, it doesn’t come off right off the bat as what you’d expect from ACE. The white wine flavor note is there as advertised and what you expect from typical ace comes through more as it warms. Overall it’s really good and definitely a unique beer.

There are currently 42 cans listed for curbside pickup. Just between us I think they may be getting a little backed up with product.
