Not coincidentally, I guess, Sarene just said on their IG page that Connecticut is getting some OH cans.

I think they're both good but I think I had unrealistic expectations for these beers which makes them a little hard to fairly judge.

I wish they would make Always & Forever more often, I think it is criminally underrated. I shoulda bought more of this last batch.

Your pick b/w citra and galaxy? Also, based on both good/other commentary the galaxy issues of past are behind us?

Let's cut to the chase- has anyone tried every single beer currently on offer?

Per a thread in the NE forum, it appears that (at least some of) the OH cans showing up for sale in Connecticut were brewed at Young Lion Brewery's facility.

    Anyone know anything about this?

And goes without saying - if this is true - guess who's last to know? That's right, the fucking locals (or locals alumni in my case).....

Looks like they're sold out or revamping their shipping right now though, despite the whatever many beers available.

Gotta hand it to the OH Marketing department on this new version of ACE, 10 out of 10!
Sexy, sleek black can, fuchshai (?) color is an awesome contrast to the black. Add in that Phantasm hop and we have a beer perfectly made for the beer geek and geekette to share together after they put the kids to sleep.

I think DDH Broccoli that was being picked up in CT was one of the ones being discussed

+1 to more Always and Forever.

I missed this one, it seems like the beer I want is always showing up the day of/before my neighborhood delivery day and I miss it!

Poured one of these for lunch today, and the coconut is not subtle. While I enjoy a coconut stout it's not something I pine for like a good old roasty stout, whether coffee boosted or not.

As far as this being an updated recipe it's hard to tell what might have changed bit does seem every so slightly sweeter than I remember the Short Dark series generally being.

UGH lol. I can't really recall the exact tastes from last year although I did enjoy it a lot. I felt like Coffee was more predominant than the coconut. I will prob get a 4 any way

I've decided to do Sober October for the first time ever, so picked up Ghost and Hop Showers Citra as my final? beers for a month.

Ghost is Pretty tasty. Smooth Citra, and maybe Fort Point vibes as well? I can't quite place. Feel like I should have gotten Experimental Acev2 instead of Hop Showers. Oh well.
