    Smuttynose Winter Ale was def. sweeter and heavier on the holiday spices. Anchor 2012 Christmas was def. heavier on the pine/hop notes. Both were fairly dark and, IMHO, decent holiday brews! Cheers, the weekend is almost here!

    +1 to that. I had the very good fortune of meeting and working with him in 2006, and he was a really friendly, funny, incredibly talented guy.
