My wife is heading to Indy for business this week and I was so excited that she agreed to stop at Three Floyds to pick me up some Zombie Dust. Then I saw over the weekend they're all out at the brewery. So plan B is to have my wife stop in Chicago and pick me up a case of Daisy Cutter and then whatever else she can find. My question is, what else should she be looking for? Is Zombie Dust available anywhere? Any Half Acre bombers of note that are around?

    No Zombie Dust isn't anywhere.

Half Acre just released Baume their anniversary Chocolate Rye Stout. Not bad, not mind blowing. Just have her stop at Half Acre, grab a case of Daisy Cutter and some growlers. Win, win.

FFF says they are only temporarily out, but ZD to go will return soon. Last time it was only a couple of days, so I'd keep an eye on their website. With any luck it will become available again sometime this week. Ditto regarding what Khazadum posted re: Half Acre.

Baume was really nice. Sort of a session-able stout.

I would expect ZD after the FFF pub closures for this week. I'm pretty psyched for the menu to open up again.

Is the normal menu going to be back after these next 3 days of being closed? I'm dogsitting in Munster next weekend and picking up some growlers from FFF would really help me pass the time.

My understanding is the normal food menu or something similar should be back as the kitchen will be done. I wouldn't expect any growler sales other than the usuals as they haven't done any others for awhile.

A bomber or two of Half Acre's Cipher might be worth grabbing as well.

True. I just checked the website and it doesn't say anything. But they sent out a tweet on March 2nd saying that the pub will be completely closed March 19, 20, and 21 due to construction.

I work at Whole Foods in the South Loop, Roosevelt and Canal, and we have several cases languishing on the floor from this past week's 11 case delivery.

I was at the Binny's in Lakeview yesterday and there was 3 or 4 cases of ZD sitting there. They also had singles of 120

Since Three Floyds is out of Zombie Dust, why not pick up some Alpha King or even Pride and Joy? Both great pales ales just like the Dust.
