I sure hope they didn’t go to cvs for testing

Mr. HouseofWortship, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this site is now dumber for having read it. I award you no beer karma, and may Todd have mercy on your soul.”

I don’t know if Todd would have mercy on his soul but at least you took the time and effort not to copy and paste that entire monologue.

Is it kind of worrisome that there hasn’t been an update for a bit?

I just looked on IG and they posted the message on the 21st. So assuming 2 weeks of "quarantine" or shutdown we'll hear something on Monday the 5th maybe? The shop link through to the website you'd order from doesn't currently work but phasethreebrewingshop.com is still live so I assume they just killed the link to the store on the main site.

Luckily the priority on brewing is sanitization so at least they should be good on the finished product.

They had an comment update on the facebook two days ago. Earliest beer would be available is this coming weekend it seems. They are doing two rounds of tests and they said everyone was negative on the first round.

Barring any setbacks, it looks like they are going to reopen on Monday, along with starting up distro again next week.

“We’ve partnered up with the great people at @affytapple to create Bushel of Apples, a beer that hits all the flavors in this Midwest classic Fall treat: Caramel, Apple and Peanuts!
    .
We took a light golden ale and hit with tart, refreshing apple juice, caramel and peanuts. We’re super excited to release this one week from today, October 10th, at the brewery.”

    I’m kinda excited actually

I’m an architect and about 10 years ago a window rep drop by and leave us a case of Affy Tapples. We were an office of 3 people at the time. I haven’t had one since.

    That is all.

From their FB post, it sounds like they will have a few releases this week.

Besides Bushel of Apples, they have P3 Helles and Blue Hour (8% "Vermont style" DIPA) announced so far. Here's the description for Blue Hour:

"A call back to the original New England IPAs of yesteryear, showcasing hops like what got the Haze Craze started."

I can only hope that means being more in line with Alchemist brews like Heady Topper and Focal Banger, rather than the more sweeter versions of the style that popped up later (ex. Tree House and Trillium).

We interrupt this talk of new beers for an “important” announcement. Adhara is excellent right now. Still bursting with juicy aroma and excellent mouthfeel (soft but doesn’t come across as undercarbed), but the sweetness is less prominent and there’s a bitterness on the finish which provides a nice substantial backbone to the beer.

Blue Hour is already up in the web store for purchase this morning, $15 a 4 pack, which makes it one of their cheaper hazy offerings.

Full description from the FB post for Blue Hour:

This Double IPA we’re calling a Vermont Style DIPA was brewed with a specific yeast that produces notes of stone fruit and a classic English yeast character. This sorta “classic” haze brewed with no wheat, no oats, strictly focuses on a big charge of Simcoe and a touch of Amarillo hops. Juicy and dank. Hazy, but not murky. West coast vibes with a Northeast flare. Not to be overthought.

Also looks like Peach Chantilly is one of the releases this week as it was added to Untappd and they have it on draft.

Beer 2 of 5 for the week:

Our second beer being released tomorrow is DDH Mosaic Sabro Triple Crème.

A few months back we did a double version, but we decided to increase the ABV to 10% and give it the double dry hop treatment. A big, creamy body carries notes of resinous weed, blueberry, and subtle notes of cedar fly high.

Hmmm, no mention of coconut with the Sabro in it. I have a feeling this will be fairly polarizing. I'll likely get a taster and that'll be plenty for me.

Looks like fresh Pixel Density, Double Strawberry Chantilly and Nectar: Curuba/Pineapple/Brazillian Guava are the other releases for this week. Seems like Double Strawberry Chantilly is delayed a day or two based on their FB post.

On a positive note, I learned what a curuba is and there are way more types of guava than I would have guessed.

I’m not a fan of milkshakes, but as a fan of Shorts Peaches and Cream, I am interested in Peach Chantilly.
