10.5 hours straight of Zoom calls are finally over and I need a beer.

 

Controversial opinion: I like most stouts but I just can't get down with Marshal Zhukovs. I've tried it on at least 3 occasions and it just doesn't work for me. I've never had any of their other stouts but I have enjoyed everything but the Zhukov. It's a damn shame as well because I am a WWII nerd and Zhukov was arguably the best general from any of the countries fighting. I want to like it.

Glad you liked it, I wasn't impressed with the non-DDH Sensory Overload. I need to experiment with some more of their beers to form a better opinion

 

This should either come in a sippy cup or with a straw. Absolutely love it.

Was at one of my favorite dives this afternoon, Monkeys Tail. They usually have a great tap list as well, not that it wasn't good today, but wasn't in the mood for anything they had on. So, an Old Fashioned is always to the rescue. Along with a fantastic chicken fried steak.



Back home spinning some Bobby Hutcherson Stick-Up, and Saint Arnold Comeback Wit.






Going to go out to the courtyard to enjoy the rest of the beautiful evening.

Not really feeling this head bomb at all. It geysered like this 2 months ago when I bought it. Don't think it's gonna avoid the downward spiral.....

Beautiful color. Taste is pretty good. Not world-class in my opinion.
