    Celebrate Repeal Day. Started off with a BCBS and then moved on to a 1936/1941 Mt. Vernon Rye. I thought I had a sample or two of pre-pro whiskey in the bunker but not to be found so settled on the Mt Vernon. Smells like old leather....

    Went to Olive garden and all they really had was Blue Moons Pumpkin Harvest. Not that great. Got home and all the food hit me. Decided to go for a run to some of this...

    Tonight it is a smooth black IPA by Victory called Yakima Gold. Must say I am enjoying it while watching some nba (on mute) and listening to some Robert Johnson. Some times there is nothing better then relaxing w/a good beer and some acoustic blues.

    I think there was a discussion of how long you should wait to drink IPAs/etc. (weeks vs. months re: Heady/Pliny) in a recent thread. I haven't been to VT in two months but the HT I got from that trip still tasting great!

    Surly Hell (thanks Fred)-tasty with sausage and veggies for dinner
    Nectar Black Xantus (2011)-pretty good, better than when fresh but nothin special
    Samuel Smith's Organic Choc Stout-mixed feelings on this one, but not bad

    Two Brothers Revelry. I haven't had an amber/red ale that I didn't like and fortunately, this one is no exception. Reminds me a lot Lagunitas Imperial minus that Lagunitas taste (Hard to describe, but some of you know what I'm talking about). Anyways, fingers crossed that Two Bros keeps this one around.
