This is a bummer, both Shimmy's in 4 pack and I'm on meds for 30 days.

that's their normal fruited version (originally brewed for their 1st or 2nd anniversary). I had it earlier during the pandemic again and it was good, not OVERLY sweet but not something you'd have more than a pint or two of during Sunday football (whereas you can easily rip through LSY).

    A few other notes.
Been really disappointed in their sours lately. I mentioned a page or so back of not being thrilled with the ripen the pint. For labor day i grabbed "Err" which was some kettle sour with blueberry and blackberry and that was a bit disappointing as well.

Swarm is ehhhh idk, I'm finding it a bit pedestrian.

Their Black is Beautiful - which I also can't believe is still hanging around was delicious. I hope they get back to doing more dark beers as it gets cooler out. Need some Diamond and Pearls, and wouldn't mind a 4pk release of poison the well.

Lastly, theyre testing the waters with in-door and outdoor seating this weekend. reservations only and in 90 minute blocks

ah, I completely overlooked that it's the normal fruited version, which I know I've had as well at the brewery. I will also cast my vote for Diamonds and Pearls 100%

visited yesterday... they did a real nice job with the improvements on the patio, looks great, comfortable set-up. I thought everything went pretty smoothly with the ordering system, etc. Only issue was 1:30 went by way too fast...lol Apparently you can book back to back slots, so keep that in mind...

Not a good time to be in dry dock. See everyone in Nov.

i feel like that's kind of a...not a nice thing to do. super limited availability. 90 minutes drinking is plenty of time. Grab one of the various to-go options and continue the party somewhere else.

tend to agree and didn't do it personally, but it was our server who mentioned it as he reminded us we were nearing the end of our time slot... not sure that's the official position from TEB tho...

Well if it's literally a half hour away and they have no one there, I'm sure they prefer it and have a paying customer, but I agree with letting other people in to get some time. Sounds like they're trying to be as safe as possible which is good.

absolutly does..good to see them opening again too. I feel awful for some of the small business owners who are yet to open

I doubt I’ve ever been in the tasting room for more than an hour. 2 pints and a growler fill and out the door.

yea back before all this i'd do a flight, maybe a full pour, then grab something to go. a few times i stayed a while but that's usually when I had a small group of guys, we'd all uber there, then head to like untied, trap rock, or river/grill. most times it was the friday after work swing by for a half pour of something new and a growler (or two 32oz) to go.

Same here. Would try to get there after work on a Thursday or Friday around 4. A pint of lager or something light then a pint of whatever else on-tap sounded interesting and I'm outta there by 5 usually. Maybe something to go if the lines aren't crazy.

I'm a fan of them, they make some solid beers. Their knucklehead hall of fame was really good, and their now-dialed in rays of haze is also solid. Their new single hop series is ehhhh. Their citra, and the citra+mosaic were decent, but nothing crazy. I try to rotate a bit between untied and twin elephant depending on which releases are available.

Agree 100% Knucklehead HOF was outstanding. There isn't a brewery in New Jersey that wouldn't be proud of it. Beside the flavor the mouthfeel was terrific. I had Boos yesterday for the first time since last year and I raised my rating. I think it's a lot better than last year. I'm excited that Untied has really stepped it up and the outdoor space is great, as well.

It's great to have 3 (I always include Trap Rock) closed to each other. If or when Bull & Bear in Summit ever opens they will be held to a very high standard. Lets hope they meet it.

Ohh, I recall it being okay last year and wasn't going to check it out this year. However, may have to grab a 4 pack now.

I really appreciate the effort that they're putting into the beers and the brewery experience during the pandemic. I'm excited to see what they may have in the way of stouts this year
