Both bikes and ebikes are pretty much sold out around here (Bay Area California), at least the mid-range types. We visited many stores over the summer, and the answers were mostly the same..."Sorry, we are oversold or sold out on new bikes/ebikes".

Fall may be the time to restock, but going out to the coast or in/around the Santa Cruz mountain roads/goat trails, there are bikes everywhere. That and motorcycles. Cars are the minority.

Isn't it amazing how many thousands of rounds the A-Team and their foes laid down in these gunfights, and yet no one is ever seen taking a killshot

Just received a delivery from Wellington Brewery in Guelph, Ontario. 48 cans of their Imperial Russian Stout, one of which I am enjoying now. The beer is $18 per 24 cheaper if I order directly from the brewery rather than purchasing it at the LCBO. Even after the $10 delivery charge, I’m still $26 to the good. A no brainer. Due to a combination of quality and price, this is my “go to” Imperial Stout. It scores an 89 here (I’m a little higher) and works out to about $3.25 Canadian ($2.45 U.S.) per 500ml can when ordered direct from the brewery. In my experience it’s basically impossible to beat that price for a high quality Imperial Stout. Cheers.

Clearing the IPA queue to make room for Fremont Fresh Hops. This is a pretty good placeholder.

Jesus Christ this is amazing. I always have a few JW Lees Harvests around this time of year, but I might have to go buy out the rest of this one.

Quick correction, the cans are 473ml, not 500ml. I had a German beer that was 500ml, so that number was on my brain. Still, a great deal.

    Pühaste (Estonia) - Magnet.

A classic American IPA with a light West Coast vibe to it, which is great. Very enjoyable brew with a great balance of fruity and bitter, resinous notes, as well as medium malt body and great bitterness in the finish. There are some of my favorite hop varieties in this and they work together very well here, with a great combination of tropical, citrus, berry and pine notes.

Dark Lord vertical with some different variants thrown in. French Vanilla Militia was a highlight, but the different originals was definitely the best. Especially the 2014 stole the show! Cheers everyone.
