No of course - in all seriousness there are so many challenges that nobody ever preps you for. For some reason society sets the expectations that everything is totally straightforward and formulaic. And the reality is totally different. I’d say that if someone conceived easily, had a straightforward pregnancy, straightforward delivery, and breastfeeding happened easily, they would probably be in like a 5% minority.

Park Slope Parents you can suck it. There’s a new baby Internet forum in town.

Father of two here (5 and nearly 11 months). My oldest has been to several breweries (including Other Half) and I have to say, sadly, that she is not a fan. "Daddy, no more breweries!" is one of her favorite exclamations. Although, with that burger joint directly across the street she can easily be bribed to behave at OH. So when your little ones get a bit older that may help make things a bit easier for you if you aren't against feeding terrible food to your children.

I'll echo what a lot of dads here are saying. From 0-1.5ish your kid is more or less an expensive accessory. Once they become mobile they become horrible drinking buddies. My kid is almost 4, and nowadays I won't bring him to a brewery unless I know I can have him run around outside without being a nuisance to other people. Thankfully we have a bunch of those in my area of the state.

Also Galaxy + Strata is drinking great. I think we're out of the terrible galaxy phase for a while.

Mostly agree. I think there's a slight earthy tone that I don't recall... For whatever that's worth... In SD years ago when I first had it. But it's definitely a quality entry in dual hops and had zero melon.

What’s more polarizing nowadays... Nelson hops or melon tasting note?

I’m most likely asking since I’m currently drinking an EQ Nelson/Galaxy fractal. It’s really good and i always hear eq is kind of known for that melon juicy thing... yet there’s none of it in this.

Galaxy+Strata was s/o so I grabbed DDH Double Motueka Chroma. Had a can last night and I thought it was really good.

given the pandemic and not wanting to venture far out - i've mostly just been paying attention to the 2 local breweries by me (untied and twin elephant), so i am a bit out of the loop here..

but just saw OH's Sunday post with their to-go board, then double checked their site....they have almost 50 to-go bottles/can options?

    what the fuck?

And yet on some delivery days your options are random 5% ipa, random lager, a triple, a double ipa, and something dumb.

Yeah, considering it’s $20 to ship you would think they’d at least give you some options to make your own 12-pack or case. There’s enough OH in the wild to keep me happy but it would be nice to have the option.

Hey man. Glad to see you're okay. You hadn't posted on BA for a few days shortly after learning Suarez put lactose in a beer. I was getting worried.

Yeah, I think Grimm and Threes do a good job having a few different variety packs available, but perhaps they have to?

Definitely a @jrnyc covert hatchet job.

Also @spersichilli didn’t get the memo about other beer discussion platforms - look but don’t touch.
