Ugh, I just watched the Social Dilemma and deleted Instagram and unsubscribed from TWCP twitter. I keep telling myself I don't care about TWCP Derivation, but damn.

 

Totally ridiculous that they are allowing proxies. People are going to be spending the next 24 hours creating as many Gmail and IG accounts as possible.

 

I am sure TWCP hopes that happens. Imagine if people from California to Maine subscribe to TWCP on IG - national marketing. The locals got their chance already with the BRC points.

 

One person that already follows them creating 100s of accounts doesn’t have effect though. Proxies makes that loophole exponentially worse.

I'm old by technological standards. Are there people who have time to do stuff like this? I am so naive about the lengths people go to for beer. Even if they plan on selling it, there are no guarantees here. I had doubts about logging back onto IG for a chance at this bottle, but now I am certainly not going down that road. #Woke

 

I haven't watched that yet but its on the list. Life was definitely less stressful and more simple before the rise of social media/the smartphone. Pretty sure social media is directly responsible for all the divide in our country as well

 

At first I thought this is a ridiculous statement as nobody has time to do that, then I had a flashback to some of the people I've met at releases...

 

I am a TWCP hater, and I have entered. I was also in there 2 days ago to pick up some Main and Mill. Hypocrisy is bitter, but washes down real well with beer. (Also just realized that qualifies me to be a SCOTUS justice.)

I consider myself a TWCP hater, absolutely. Cool on them, however, for 'allowing' the opportunity to grab a bottle and not having to spend whatever it is to be considered a 'prime' customer to buy a bottle of limited SP stuff. I did not, and will not, enter.

My concern is that the new 2nd Shift BA BW that they are partnering with them on (announced last week) will be another TWCP-exclusive-if-you-spend-$X-more-than-other-people-on-beer-in-this-time-period release. As a supporter of 2nd Shift buying directly from the brewery for most of their new releases, I guess I'll miss that one because I don't directly support the brewery(?) by buying 2nd Shift at TWCP.

 

So much TWCP hate, lol. Must be a lot of poor people in these forums, like me. Just think, $50 would've gotten you a D1. Wonder how much it would be for the newest iteration. Probably a little more than $50.

Not nearly as many people ‘liked’ the TWCP post to enter as I expected, especially considering they said proxies were allowed. Encouraging, albeit still a very small chance.
