He did. Here is a wonderful rundown of his mad quest for "freak power" in Aspen valley.

Right! What a novel idea. Solid.beer, affordable and available to most people?

I think that any sane human with an above-average intelligence would find this very far from a controversial opinion. We could probably even claim this as an absolute fact.

By the veracity of your first statement, I will 100% take your word on Enegren lagers.

Agreed. One of them kicked my dog. Another one cut me off in the Kroger lot. Another one sold me counterfeit tickets to see Carrot Top On Ice. Very annoying people.

I'm glad we agree. One killed my dog while running naked and shouting to the four winds that Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is better than Heady Topper. Another one managed to hijack a conversation about the weather into a conversation about how Ken Grossman came up with SN Pale Ale in 1980.

You had to miss Carrot Top On Ice!? That's the true horror of this thread.

My friends and I briefly considered rushing the gate when security took the fake tix from us. Still bums me out we missed it. Damned Sierra Nevada Beer loving ticket scammers!

But are they more annoying than the words "stan" and "hazebro?"

It would seem that I am not a "kid" since I had to web search what the term "stan" meant.:flushed:

    Cheers!

P.S. Thank goodness for Urban Dictionary.

Is the name for that beer a self-inflicted criticism of it (or the audience for it)? Or is the brewer simply short-sighted? Not a good look either way.

As a wise man (with a great voice) once sang:

Say I'm acting just like a kid
Well maybe I'm doing what I'm doing
'cause I done what I did when I was a kid
    .... Maybe

That'll happen when they Anglicize a Native American name...
"Azhklohn - river of barley and hop-flavored water".
(Language of the Occaneechi Band of Saponi Nation if I'm not mistaken?)

(There's a town in central Jersey near where I grew up named "Manalapan" - pronounce "ma-NAL-a-pan" - at least, that's how I've always heard in said. Was in the fitness center at work one morning on the bike and watching a local morning news show on the TV, which they kept with volume off and Closed Caption on. A story came along about a "Man a Lapping...".
    "Huh?")

And that name is courtesy of the local Lenape Indian tribe:

“The name Manalapan translates from the Lenape Indian Words "manel" for drinking and "paune" for bread meant good land to settle upon, for the Indians.”

That is a ‘good’ name since it includes drinking; just like Manayunk:

“The name Manayunk is derived from the Lenape Indian word "manaiung" meaning "where we go to drink."

Unfortunately for the Lenape Indians they had to await the early settlers of New Sweden and later the English colonists (William Penn) in order to drink some beer.

    Cheers!
