Not sure if this has been discussed yet but.....

If you buy a DL package and relying on a proxy to pick it up, what keeps them from swapping out your banger variant for a less desirable one? Something to consider......

They aren’t allowing proxies, so that takes care of that.

If someone is buying two packs in their name and you're buying their second pack, they get to pick their variant between the two. I think you just need to accept that.

Not buying one. I think @gibson584 made a valid point.

A pretty reasonable perk for having to endure a quarantine upon return to Chicago

Was wondering when someone would point that out.

    Details?

Either way, are ya'll goin out in general? I mean I've still done a few shares this year and gone to a local brewery a few times, all outdoors, but, it's like a week or two between these things, sometimes three or more.

Ain't it all about that Q life, especially now that Winter is Coming?

I highly doubt people are quarantining after this. You could almost view it as "traveling through" Indiana, which is allowed and does not require quarantine per the Travel Order, if you never even get out of your car.

    Actually they changed that:

So just driving to FFF and back is enough to trigger a 14 day quarantine.

It would be difficult to actually get fined though, you would need to be posting about it all over social media and then going out in large social gatherings in Chicago to really get caught.

There's still a stipulation for "driving through".

Yes but that stipulation only applies if you were originally coming from a State not on the quarantine list. I'm not sure if driving from Illinois and back counts. The quarantine applies to Chicago residents returning form WI or IN so I don't think Illinois counts as a "driving through" option since they don't want you going there in the first place. There is no reason to drive from Chicago to Indiana and back if you are just "driving through".

Again, no-one is getting caught for this though.

There's definitely some gray area or perceived contradictions in some of what they list out. If someone drives from MI to Chicago and has to pass through WI or IN and stops to get gas, do they have to quarantine? You could say that is more "risky" than what folks are doing by driving to 3 Floyds and never getting out of their car, but by the below question/answer, that person doesn't need to quarantine.

As you said, nobody is getting caught for this, and I am suspect that anyone would see it as an issue. I actually held off on going to another IN brewery to pick up something I wanted because I would have to get out of the car and interact with people there. For this, I "reasoned" that since I never leave my car, it's the same as (or better than) driving through.

What if I drove through one of the designated states but did not stay there?
The Order does not apply to any individual passing through designated states for less than 24 hours in the course of travel.

Yeah, if you go to the Indiana specific part of the FAQ it reads more strict. It does seem perfectly safe to me though seeing as you won't leave your car.

Just see if 3 Floyds can soft toss your bottles over the train tracks behind the brewery...then you’ll never have left IL

I would endorse the use of T-shirt cannons to launch allotments across the border

But if the bottles leave the brewery they have to be quarantined before you can open them in Illinois. Unless they can launch them in a wax sealed tote bag, then you're OK!
