Anchor used to have a great stout along these lines called Flying Cloud, but I don’t know whether they’re still brewing it.

Anchor Porter is in my regular line up although it's a "measly" 5.6% but some of us enjoy flavorful, relatively low ABV ales.

Interesting. I go to multiple stores and I have seen the 6-pack of BA 19.2 oz Ten Fidy but I've ever seen a store selling in that format. They break them down to single can for $12.99

Bad news. I knew it had been made a seasonal but not that it was GWTW. As I'm sure you know Storm King was once the highest rated beer on Beer Advocate,

Yes, I am indeed aware of this. An 'indicator' of how the craft beer scene has significantly changed in the last decade+. Nowadays the beer has to be either super hazy & juicy or filled with flavorings to be popular. Wonder what will be the 'it' beer style(s) 10 years from now?

Wouldn't it be a hoot if the popular beer style 10 years from now tasted like beer (e.g., Pilsner)!?!:stuck_out_tongue:

    Cheers!

I have not Jack. I have enjoyed the new Yards Loyal Lager.

I also found some Sierra Nevada in PA at a great price. I was at a Target yesterday and saw they sold beer. I had to look. Nothing great but I did see 12 packs of SNPA and mix pack for $15.99. I saw the same beers in the same plaza at Giant market for $20.99.

I can only hope they get Celebration.

Maybe there is hope for realistic SN prices in PA

    Enjoy

I just picked up a 6pk of 12oz cans of Stone Xocoveza stout modeled after Mexican hot chocolate including a hint of chili. Very tasty. in CA it was about $19 at BevMo. 8.1% ABV. that meets your criteria of ABV, lots of flavor, and available in 6 packs.

Founders Porter, Expedition, Narwahl, Kalamazoo Stout (never had it), Xocoveza, Firestone Velvet/Mocha Merlin, Left Hand Milk Stout in bottles. I’m sure others have mentioned some of these.

    I miss SN Stout.

You are recommending a beer you have never had? Thats odd.

I can vouch that Kalamazoo is indeed a great beer. You should try it.

    Enjoy

I’m just saying it’s a stout in a six pack.

Just to confirm, that is the Target in Plymouth Meeting?

And if you enjoy cleanly brewed Lagers I would recommend Victory Classic Lager to you (which is new for 2020).

    Cheers!

Thanks guys, all of these recommendations sound great, and yes, I echo the sentiment of missing SN stout - best lacing I’ve had from any beer and absolutely delicious. Gonna hit up my distro soon to pick up some new brews!
