Why not? The only ones that are being held for non-Oners releases are the LLC (or are these at Oner's?) and Cafe cans, right?

I hear you. I just know that for certain releases (the BrewCafe series, LLC beers, the first DDH AC release) they only make them available in Ardmore. I totally understand why they'd do it that way though.

Hope I'm wrong and they have some stuff in Fishtown (warning - traffic rant: a quick and easy ~20 min drive vs. the ~45-min drive-that-feels-like-3-hours [fucking Schuylkilll...and I thought Boston had awful roads...Schuylkill makes the Southeast Distressway look like a joke lol at least we have a HOV/zippah lane:rolling_eyes:...and yes, I've tried the backroads they're not much better haha])

EDIT: quick research shows Boston has worse traffic than Philly. Go figure. I guess I'll just stuff it and deal with the Schooykill

I'm enjoying one now. It's really killer. I can't say how it compares to a fresh can of Punge but it is miles ahead of the can I had last month. Excellent beer; definitely the best DIPA they make IMO and I'm glad your pricing guess was a wee high:grin: (it's going for $23/pack)

Only Void this coming weekend. Hope they do some decent variants instead of the weird shit like last year. Ferm is still takeout only though right?

The only viable option is on-line ordering and pickup at the Ferm. They're likely be expanded period to order brews and additional hours of operation of the Ferm to handle all the orders that have been placed. An option is have your selected OV beers delivered.

Is giving the DDH treatment to fan favorites a trend now? Because if so I'm definitely here for it.

Anyway: Only Void confirmed for being sold at Oner's (and some online? though it's not 100% clear to me how that will workfrom the post). Not sure why there was an assumption that it wouldn't be (they have LLC there too).

Only Void will be sold, kiiiiinda, like any other beer we sell. All orders placed online via our Toast website(s) (i.e. for the Ferm or for St. Oners) as well as via Dudley Direct.

The only difference is, to mitigate the crowds, we will be splitting up the yield for pickups across three days. So, there will be a certain amount available Saturday, a certain amount available Sunday, and the remaining amount available for Monday. Dudley Direct, however, will release their entire yield on Saturday, with deliveries beginning on Monday.

Happy to answer any other questions about the day since we're switching things up a little bit ya know?

That makes total sense -- thanks for confirming. And that is what it says in the post too, I was just a little surprised on the "Dudley releasing entire yield at once" aspect and wondering if I misinterpreted.

    Hello @BullRuth

not a specific q about only void but delivery in general. I live within your hand delivery area and have ordered from Dudley direct prob a half a dozen times. Any consideration ever given to reducing the (4) 4-pack minimum for those in your hand delivery area? For example I ordered 2 bottles last time and you guys delivered it. Is there a reason I couldn’t add on a 4-pack to that order? I would love to, maybe even 2 4-packs. But I just didn’t want 4 4-packs....just seems silly for hand deliveries I can’t add on a single 4-pack. Maybe consider a minimum dollar amount ($40?) for deliveries rather than a quantity?

    Thanks!

Sometimes I've seen the LLC not be there. Obviously the brew cafe releases as well don't go there. But in a pandemic, yeah, it makes sense for them to maximize clearing stock (especially with no draft) and sell there to Philadelphia residents without cars and SNJ residents basically.

DDH Heist Decoder is some delicious stuff. I haven't had the original before but I'm a big fan of Simcoe and Citra beers in general. Simcoe seems to win the day on this one but this is a great dank & fruity melange of hop flavors (grapefruit, pineapple, mango). I'm a fan.

    * slowly raises hand * my fault for that presumption. The only reason I had presumed this was because the Brew Cafe beers, the original DDH AC release and (up until last week & yesterday) the LLC beers were Ardmore-only. Clearly now they're spreading everything out to both shops. I'm very happy to be wrong; now it's just a really quick drive over the bridge for their full lineup

I can't really answer this with a ton of authority but I know our system can't really make differentiations b/w local/not local that "deep" down... so like if we opened that up for locals, it would open that option up for the rest of PA & D.C. and then we'd be in trouble making it work on the $$$ side of things. Again, my word is not the be-all-end-all wrt Dudley Direct ops. Thanks for the input though, I'll definitely bring it up with the crew, see if there's anything we can modify...

The OV glassware looks fantastic. Always great designs and artwork on these milestone releases from Tired Hands. Anyways, was curious about the size and maybe you know the answer. Is there a reason why the glassware sold is always less than 16 oz?

BrewCafe beers have been Ardmore only, and then Little Log Cabin decided to start expanding their footprint to Fishtown recently (I think maybe 2 months ago or so?) but DDH AC has always been available in Ardmore, Fishtown, and via DudleyDirect. The first few releases sold out, like, instantly, but they were def there. I'll see what we can do to make sure that's extra extra clear going forward! Bummed to hear you may have missed out on it when you could've gotten to it.

Really looking forward to that DDH Heist Decoder I just picked up, will probably crack one during the game tonight.

DDH Punge was incredible. I had it right alongside "bigger" Tree House last week (King Jjjjjulius, Super Sap) and preferred the DDH Punge.

Praying to Jean for a DDH Oblivez sometime soon.

A golden Only Void. Could definitely go either way but I'm always down for at least the coffee variant. Another can to be announced tomorrow too I think.

Yeah they're slick! The Lüttich glass (the one with white print) is 0,3L (lil over 10oz) and the Libbey glass (the taller one with gold print) is 12oz.

To be honest, we just have fun with picking out the different styles for glassware and the size is rarely a big concern of ours. That Lüttich glass is just a favorite of ours so we love putting different designs on them. It's nice & thin & IPAs/Stouts drink really well out of them. And then the other glass, the Libbey 12oz, is a fun lil call back to the "8oz" glass (which, insider info, is actually 10oz!) that we served beer in when the restaurants/taprooms were open. I imagine we didn't go with the smaller size because the imagery wouldn't have looked as nice.

With that said, the classic logo Willi Becher pints (and those with other designs on them, too) are all 16oz

Oh, that's very interesting. Thank you for clarifying that. It was my mistake -- I forgot that I purposely went to Ardmore for the first DDH AC release because I happened to be in the area. I don't think I've missed any of the canned variants so far (Galaxy/Citra, Riwaka). LLC...I guess I just never noticed them coming into Fishtown recently. Awesome!

DDH Oblivex/Bight Hellesh Oblivion would be great. I like the regular one well enough but a DDH version sounds real good.

I'd like to see a DDH Death Tripper, personally
